EVEN Hotel New York - Times Square South by IHG

What a great experience at Even Hotel New York Times Square South. Staff was kind, accommodating, and helpful. The location was perfect for any bus travelers or anyone looking for a close location to Times Square without the major hustle and bustle. Would absolutely stay again!

The accommodation was clean and well heated. The bedding was comfortable, and the shower worked well. The hotel is conveniently located close to attractions, and the subway station is nearby. All of the staff were very kind and helpful.

As a downside, like many hotels in New York, the rooms are connected, so noise from neighboring rooms can be heard clearly. The ice machine on our floor was out of order, but since it was winter and we didn’t need it, this wasn’t an issue for us.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel for those using Penn Station or traveling for business.

We had a great stay at the EVEN in NYC (Time Square). The staff was very friendly and helpful during check in and every encounter during our stay. Both the room and common areas were very clean and attended to during our stay. We had a great time at the lounge on our final night. I will definitely be coming back on my next trip to NYC.

My daughter and I stayed here for a couple of days so we could attend shows and see sights. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to many places as well as several subway locations. The hotel is cute and had a fun vibe. Staff was lovely and it was quiet.

I would like to comment on this Gem of a hotel. We had never stayed at an Even property prior to this and were absolutely impressed with the entire stay. The staff at the hotel, especially at reception truly set this place apart from many places we have stayed. Our plane was about 6 hours late getting to New York so we were pretty exhausted when we arrived and the friendliness and extra help from the Ladies at the front desk just made our day. This was our 4th trip to New York and this has been our favourite place so far. As far as location goes, if you are wanting to stay in Manhattan i would strongly suggest this hotel. It is literally steps away from Madison Square Garden, Times Square and walking distance to Rockafeller Center, Empire State, Grand Central and Central Park. The Breakfast was solid and the games room kept the teens busy while we made plans and waited for rides etc. all in all this place is an exceptional value in my opinion.

Usually come here for business since it is such a good location for Hudson Yards, but came for the holiday season and as always the hotel does not disappoint! They recognized I was here outside of business and it was just such a touching detail! Will always recommend EVEN Times Square South!

Stayed here for NYD. The location is super convenient, close to Penn Station and easy to get around. Staff were friendly and helpful, Chris manages an excellent team! Food is great around area and is overall a solid choice. I’d definitely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here during the Christmas season and I can only say that this hotel is the best! What makes it the best are all of the staff with how attentive and kind they are. Anytime I asked for something, they would come to our room with it within minutes. I didn't expect people in NYC to have the amount of hospitality that the staff has at this hotel. I almost don't want to spread the word because I don't want overcrowding to ruin the experience, but I doubt that the staff would change how exceptional they are.

Special shout out to Yannek and Chris. I left my earbuds after checking out, and they stayed in contact with me and made sure to assist with getting them back to me.

My office booked this hotel for me, and I was weary that it was so close to the hustle of tourists, but it was not only tucked safely down 35th street (out of the way), but the 3 block walk to Moynahan Train Hall was an incredible benefit. The EVEN brand is always a fresh departure from old school carpeted hotel rooms; I enjoy the sleek layout, in-room amenities (including 4 coffee pods per day!) and the daily cleaning was very well done. The front desk staff was always helpful and friendly, even as I arrived at 12:30am due to a delayed train. My only request would be to add an iron/ironing board to the room.

The location was excellent—everything was close and within walking distance, yet the area was not crowded at all. It felt very convenient without the usual New York hustle. The hotel atmosphere was very quiet and calm. There was no noise, no traffic sounds at night, and no waiting for elevators, which made our stay very relaxing.

I stayed with my daughters for three nights, and it was a very pleasant experience. The room was nice, clean, and well maintained. Room service was also very good.

In terms of value, the hotel felt a bit pricey, but since I stayed in December, this may be average pricing for New York during that time. I appreciated that breakfast vouchers were provided. We received six vouchers for three guests, which meant one morning we had to go out for breakfast. Breakfast is not a buffet, which I actually liked—it is made to order based on selections from the menu.

Overall, a calm, clean, and comfortable hotel, especially great for families looking for a quiet stay in a central location.
