The staff was nice - however the sign on the office said that it was open from 8 am till 8:30 pm - in reality, there was no one in the office till around 9 am and by 8 pm everything was all shut down for the night.
Cleanliness was okay - however the place needs better maintenance. There are any number of places where you can see water damage on the walls - that needs to be spackled and painted. Towels are frayed, etc.
Little things are frustrating too - the clothes hangers provided are cheap, bent out of shape hangers from dry cleaners.
But worst of all was the fact that the description is just way off. Nowhere is there any mention of the fact that the bedroom and bathroom are up a flight of semi-circular stairs. Had we known that we have to go up and down stairs to the bathroom, to take a shower, to go to bed - we never would have booked this.
Additionally, the listing on Hotels.com states: "On-site fitness center
A rare find - enjoy convenient access to fitness facilities during your stay." -- except when you ask to use it - you are informed that it has nothing to do with the hotel and there is a fee to use this -- this is deceptive.
We are Gold members and were supposed to receive a bottle of wine - which we never got and when I tried to bring this to their attention - there was nobody in the office.
There's more - but you get the picture.
This place has potential - but truth in advertising would be nice and we will not return, nor recommend it to anyone.
Excellent location and very comfortable. Clean but can be maintained slightly better. Would definitely stay there again
We were a group of 5 and in any other place we would have been forced to get two rooms.
This hotel has two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area.
Fully equipped kitchen, huge dining area and amazing views.
The breakfast is a choice of one of the nearby restaurants and was perfect.
The place is a little old, but for our needs it was absolutely amazing.
Oh, and the reception crew was the most helpful I have ever encountered.
We will 100% stay again and recommend to everyone.
A Perfect Family Stay at the 21st Floor Hotel – Highly Recommended!
We recently stayed at the 21st Floor Hotel in Jerusalem for a family vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive to every need—whether it was giving us tips on the best local restaurants or helping us organize transportation.
One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is its unbeatable location. It’s situated right in the heart of Jerusalem, and we loved how close it was to everything. Machne Yehuda Market is just a short walk away.
We also walked to the Western Wall (Kotel) several times during our stay.
It’s about a 25-minute walk through the beautiful streets of Jerusalem, and we really appreciated being able to experience the city on foot.
The suites themselves are exceptional. We stayed in one of the family suites, and it was incredibly spacious—plenty of room for everyone to relax. The suite was thoughtfully designed with a modern touch, and the large windows gave us breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The layout is perfect for families, with separate areas for sleeping, lounging, and even a small kitchen space that came in handy.
Another thing that stood out was the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the suite felt fresh and well-maintained every day.
great host and great place to stay
Our stay at this apartment was honestly unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how spacious and comfortable the room was—it felt more like a full suite than a typical vacation rental. There was so much room to breathe, unpack, and just settle in, which made a huge difference for us.
The location couldn’t have been better. Being right in the center of Jerusalem meant we were able to walk to most of the main attractions, amazing restaurants, and shops. Whether we wanted to explore the Old City, grab a bite nearby, or just take in the local atmosphere, everything was so accessible.
But hands down, the best part was the view. Being on the 21st floor gave us this absolutely breathtaking, wide-open view of the city. We spent every morning and evening just looking out the window or stepping onto the balcony—it’s something that pictures just can’t capture. It gave us a real sense of peace and perspective.
Also, major shoutout to the cleanliness. The place was spotless when we arrived—everything felt fresh, well-kept, and thoughtfully prepared. You could tell the hosts really care about making sure guests are comfortable.
This place really made our trip feel special. It was a perfect mix of location, comfort, and those little “wow” moments that you don’t forget. Would absolutely stay here again!
Great
This is the best place I’ve stayed in I had one thing that bothered me and that was the in the winter they don’t have air conditioning only heating and if you are like me and need to sleep cold it can get in the way a lot but let me tell u it was still worth it this place is amazing but they should fix that all in all 10/10
Great location, easy parking in city centre, not fancy, not luxurious, no food services at all, the view is sublime. This is all about position position position and view...and not much else
During check-in, the receptionist demanded an additional payment with various claims. I insisted that I shouldn't pay anything beyond the VAT, but the worst part was that he spoke to us disrespectfully. We didn't receive the wine in our rooms as stated, and nothing was upgraded for us.
easy check in. very friendly helpful staff
wasn't able to use AC
Very beautiful , great location , very comforatble , i recomend it a lot !
Our room was the Presidential Suite. It was very roomy with two floors, a full size kitchen, and two bathrooms. The appliances and furniture were solid but dated. Great views from the room and very convenient located to the major sites of Jerusalem. The best thing about the property is the staff, who were very helpful and accommodating. If you are coming with 2-4 people and don't mind cooking, it is a good place to stay. There is no restaurant or laundry facilities.
It was a good trip with excellent hotel.
Views are great especially facing old city
This was a top-notch stay. We stayed in a beautiful duplex overlooking Jerusalem and instantly felt cozy as soon as we walked in. The hotel is proximal to so many attractions—we didn’t use our car in Jerusalem once. The staff is so helpful and kind. We stayed here for my girlfriend’s birthday and I’m so glad we stayed here. Gorgeous place, comfortable beds and seating options. Also, the hotel smelled really nice, which was a plus. Will be staying here again!
Great 2 floor apartment, spacious, quiet, with nice view of Jerusalem. Well located, with friendly staff.
Spacious rooms and location is good
The hotel provides great space for the family ina central location in Jerusalem. They provide good breakfast vouchers to get you out and into the city with a full tummy in the morning from a local eatery. While the rooms were spacious everything in them was breaking or on the cusp of breaking. Faucets falling off, multiple door handles falling on the floor, stair railings wobbling and keeping you safe with just a tiny screw, beautiful island in the kitchen that falls over when you lean on it, and mold in the bathrooms. It felt like the room was designed to look good in a photo but was not ultimately maintained for actual guests. The rooms served us well and provide spectacular views of the city. On the next visit I will still consider using this hotel but will definitely look for alternatives.
It doesn’t look like a hotel from the outside. But when you go to 21 st floor there’s the apartments. Excellent view! So much to do around. Very walkable. Excellent breakfast from local venders. Friendly staff too. A couple minor maintenance issues but the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need.
