You do not get what you pay for
Pros:

I had high expectations $$$$. We had to change our room due to a very bad odor; the shower water pressure and hot water was lacking. The buffet breakfast was poor quality & trainees were cooking eggs with a crust, the coffee was weak, no plain yogurt nor healthy cereal; we had to call for the gym to be stocked with water and towels; and the pool was very cold and not maintained.

The hotel itself is amazing and well maintained even during covid times.They strictly follow covid norms.We got an upgrade for our booking.The whole property is not that big but it’s very beautiful and you will really feel like you are in Europe

The hotel is big and beautiful. Nice environment for families and couples who want to just relax and have fun. Many facilities are kept in their best condition. The room is big and spacious with nice bathroom, love the bath tub and elegant furniture. Staffs is friendly and nice.

Country Type of Stay and super Relaxing feeling.
Pros:

Serve drink while we are waiting to be served. The bell boy put our luggages in the buggy when we set in and when we check out. once our driver is here, they transferred into our guided vehicle. Very impressive and they are very attentive. Breakfast is good and a lot of variety. Cosy castle restaurant.Very relaxing. Do keep up the good work. Go to seek fishes, Yoga lesson going on. Minibar full of soft drinks,coffee capsules and beverages like tea.

The check-in service was fast and smooth. While the walk to the room is short, the staff offered the buggy service to bring the elderly closer to the room.

Lovely English themed hotel

I spent 3 nights at Thames Valley with my husband in the Deluxe Pond room and absolutely loved our stay! They did a really good job with the whole atmosphere of the place, didn’t feel like I was in Thailand. Room was beautiful and clean and every corner of the place is a photo worthy setting. It was a completely relaxing stay and I felt so sad to leave. My only comments will be that they should provide bath salts for rooms with the pond/bathtub. And the high tea food can be improved. Other than that everything was great! Definitely a memorable experience and hope I will be back again one day.
