We have a limited number of ground floor rooms which are outside main building.

Food is available in Treetops Bar between 12pm and 8.30pm.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Understand that it is having some TLC and l feel it needs it especially bathroom in the room. Breakfast was nice with helpful staff and reasonable choice of food

Cons:

Water was cold when I wanted to have a bath and bathroom in need of update

Pros:

Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war wirklich sehr gut und die Preise für Essen und Trinken im Vergleich zu unseren sonstigen Erfahrungen in Schottland recht moderat. Der kleine Garten vor dem Hotel war nett. Von diesem Standort kann man viele Unternehmungen machen.

Cons:

Das Haus ist sehr abgewohnt. Teppichboden, Tapeten, Vorhänge etc. sind offensichtlich seit den frühen 90ern nicht erneuert worden. Teppichbodenstellen im Flur teilweise mit Klebeband ausgebessert, Zugring für Insektenschutzrollo herausgerissen. Die Gartenmöbel waren von Taubenkot verdreckt und wurden weder gereinigt noch ordentlich zusammengestellt, Gläser und Aschenbecher vom Vorabend standen am nächsten Morgen noch da. Das Frühstück war nur schlecht, alles offensichtlich vom Billigsten.
Das Haus scheint dennoch im Ort recht beliebt und führt grössere Feiern durch.
Der Ort Grangemouth ist wenig ansprechend. Eine grosse Raffinerie und ein Gewerbegebiet sind angrenzend.

A good place for visiting the Kelpies
Pros:

The staff was very friendly, especially the young receptionist with the ginger curly hair (unfortunately I can't remember her name). My room was very clean and spaceaous.

Superb relaxing stay.
Pros:

Lovely tranquil location,the room was large and clean.Beds were comfortable.
All staff were friendly and professional.
Dinner was very good and great value.

Rooms are fine, eat elsewhere.
Pros:

We liked having a fridge in the room . The room was well furnished and everything worked. Reception staff were very pleasant. The secondhand book stall which raised money for charity was a great idea.

Cons:

This was our second stay at the Lea Park and last time we'd had a meal on the Saturday evening. The restaurant had only one other table occupied, the waiter couldn't describe what was in the dishes and had not been aware that we'd booked a table (not that that would have been a problem due to the low occupancy). This time I asked about the restaurant and was told that there was no need to book as it was hardly occupied. We decided to try elsewhere to find some life.

A very nice short break stay.
Pros:

Very nice hotel - ideal location for the visits we wanted to make. Our room was good & the food was very good. Ate in the Treetops bar a couple of evenings & the good/drinks were very good. The staff, both in the hotel & Treetops bar, were friendly & helpful.

Cons:

Nothing - a couple of little niggles with our room which we let reception know about before we left.

Over Night Stay
Pros:

Good off street parking. Staff were lovely. Evening meals were great. Lots of choice. Clean, comfy beds. Warm. Didn't need anything else for an overnight stay.

Cons:

Very little choice for breakfast breakfast if you don't want a full cooked breakfast. Eggs Benedict was appalling. Came completely covered in hollandaise sauce, filled the plate also. No taste. Left it. Was asked if I wanted anything else but this was after my Husband had finished eating and we were ready to leave. The milk that was left on a table was poured back into the jugs that were in the chiller. Very poor. A real shame as it over shadowed everything else.

Decent hotel
Pros:

Generous breakfast, kind staff, really large room

The room was noisy from some sort of ventilation units just outside our window, not unbearable but definitely noticeable
