We loved it a lot, very good stay!
Pros:

We loved it, very good location and amazing staff. Great food and drinks aswell.

Cons:

Could do with some parts being repainted and so stained furniture removed

A Sri Lanka Treasure
Pros:

We booked half board and can safely say the food was excellent; perhaps a little too much choice. The restaurant had a comfortable,friendly atmosphere, as well as being an air of formality. Our room was very comfortable in a traditional style, overlooking the sea. The hotel was just so relaxing after our long journey.

Cons:

We were disturbed by a late night party on one night but this was dealt with in mutually beneficially.

Loved our stay at this iconic heritage hotel by the sea
Pros:

We loved staying in this iconic hotel. It’s just beautiful! Our rooms were spacious, well appointed and clean. The beds and pillows were comfy, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The pool was refreshing and a sunset cocktail near the sea is a must. The buffet breakfast and dinner was fantastic.

Eine Ikone in Colombo, fast schon Kulturerbe
Pros:

Ich war jetzt schon das dritte Mal im Galle Face Hotel. Ich liebe den kolonialen Stil und fühle mich dort gut aufgehoben. Es ist ein sehr altes Hotel und hier und da muss neu renoviert werden. Aber einwenig Patina macht den eigenen Charme des Hotels aus. Das Essen ist sehr gut und der Blick auf den Ozean traumhaft. Auch der große Pool mit Meerwasser ist schön.

Cons:

Na ja, wie gesagt, hier und da braucht es eine Renovierung. Aber da wird auch schon einiges gemacht. Ist eben ein altes Hotel.

Pros:

There was nothing much to say wow, the reason I stayed in the past where because of the historical connection of the building.

Cons:

General service, having no water in the room, when asking for drinking water its as if they where doing you a favour. Same when in there dining area for breakfast/dinner having to buy the same bottles that where given in the room. Service staff where very slow and forgetful. An all round poor show for what they where charging.

It was wonderful to stay in the heart of Galle Fort
Pros:

The hotel is right in the centre of the beautiful Fort in Galle so it is so convenient for everything that you want to do. It has a very pretty courtyard and lovely rooms.
