Overall, we were satisfied, but improvements could be made in some areas.
Pros:

The location was perfect for the Canada Day festivities. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The building itself is an old classic, but has been kept in rather good repair throughout the main areas.

Cons:

Using the shower each morning was certainly an adventure, the water kept shifting from hot to cold. Could be dangerous for seniors who like a morning shower. Our AC unit was a little finicky and barely maintained a comfortable level. Our room was very small and had only one chair, a little awkward for 2 seniors; housekeeping did find us another chair.

Friendly staff. Brilliant location. Car parking onsite. Room with private access to balcony was brilliant. Spotless room and facilities.

Wonderful Accommodation
Pros:

Wonderful facility right in the middle of town... great location. Staff are amazing, rooms are very clean. Restaurant meals were amazing.

Cons:

Room for 4 has 2 double beds. These should be queen size for a more comfortable sleeping space.

Great place to stay in the heart of St. Andrews. Will stay here again.
Pros:

Staff were personable and helpful. The hotel; built in 1881 is full of charm and has been modernized to be comfortable. We would defiantly stay here again.

Great location in town. Spacious clean room and bathroom.

Cons:

Keep in mind that the rooms are above a lively bar and restaurant. Don't know when the last call at the bar was, but we fell asleep with the AC unit running as white noise.
