Pros:

The photos are the highlight of this property. When we arrived, we were stunned at the condition of the property. There is water damage all throughout the property, including the rooms.
The property was not well lit at all and difficult to find, add that to the fact that when we walked in there was pretty much nobody around.
They said that the morning continental breakfast would be ready at 7 AM. We were downstairs by 7:15 and everything was still completely shut down with lights off. This was what in my family we call “and experience“

Pros:

It was tough to get past the smell of the elevator and the room. Our comforter had a big hole in it although appeared to be clean. There were many things that were in poor condition and could be replaced including the hair dryer, tiles missing in shower etc. The town seems to be struggling bff a bit and several of the food establishments closing or reducing their services. Would be better off staying in one of the bigger towns nearby.

Pros:

The Inn is charming and the history of it is so captivating. Those who want spotless and sterile hotel rooms will find it less than ideal, because this place is an authentic step back in time -- original wood floors, antique chifferobes, etc. The 25 rooms are each uniquel, and the Inn itself gives the air that you have stepped back as in the movie "Somewhere in Time." My traveling companion and I found it delightful.

Pros:

When we walked into our room, there was a dead cockroach on the floor beside our bed. The A/C unit hadn’t been turned on yet either so it was super hot, however he made us aware of this when we arrived and we just turned it on once we got to our room. The bathroom didn’t look super clean, but was clean enough. On the other hand, the beds were super comfortable and the A/C unit cooled the room down pretty quickly to make it comfortable. Overall, probably wouldn’t stay here again unless we absolutely had to.

Lovely Historic gem
Pros:

If you enjoy historic buildings, you will thoroughly enjoy staying at this hotel. Built in 1903. This little hotel has a lot of charm. It is right in the center of downtown Abbeville. We only got to stay one night as we were passing through, but we will definitely be back for a longer stay. Each of the rooms are completely different and unlike what the other reviewer commented we had plenty of air-conditioning. Our room was 64° when we got there.

The Innkeeper was delightful and graciously allowed us to arrive at 11:30 PM and was waiting for us. All of the decor are antiques!

Quaint, however badly needs an update. Wall unit air conditioner was noisy and ran all night. Easy parking. Slept well

Pros:

This is a historic inn with a lot of charm. The staff is fantastic. The location at the corner of the town square is ideal. It needs a little work with little things like paint, etc. but it is a very old inn. I will definitely stay there again.

Pros:

The pictures on the website were photoshopped, the condition of the hotel was subpar. The building was not air conditioned. I would not recommend staying at this hotel in the summer.
