Questionable experience given local competition
Pros:

Arrived at 11pm, had booked online with Expedia, but family appeared surprised and put out by our arrival - although later showed they had printed off info about our booking & so would have known of our planned stay. Made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. Questioned over if had paid for AC, and told breakfast not included - so had to find paperwork to prove it had been included in price. Towels & sheets in room had stains on. Did sleep well in room though & breakfast was nice. Very easy walk to main sights in Fort Cochin. Other guests houses in areas appeared far more friendly and helpful when we went to explore the area.

Nice hotel but misleading.
Pros:

We stayed at Orion for one night. The facilities were nice and the staff and owners were friendly. The problem was that the rates for rooms didn't explicitly state the conditions for an a/c room. We were charged extra for turning the a/c on in the room after arriving.
