Staff were friendly and welcoming.
It appeared to be dirty. Carpet had clearly not be vacuumed for a good while, especially on the stairs. Lift was out of order, so had to use two flights of stairs and my mum has poor mobility. However, staff did arrange for a ground floor room when we brought it to their attention.
The room was clean and had everything required for a short stay. The room was very warm during the hot weather and a fan would have been useful. The location was excellent. Breakfast and dinner were good. Staff were amazing.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.
The lift wasn't working and the rooms are a bit outdated. The floorboards creaked everywhere you walked in the room, as did the room above. The bathroom door was literally right next to the bed, and the bathroom was a bit on the small side, to say the least.

When we arrived I was told due to a flood that we were now moved to the first floor Into room 16 a room you could not swing a car in which on closer inspection the beds had bugs all I’ve them and it was a shower over a bath no good for what my fiancée suffers with we were then given room 12 oh my god if this is your standard well I am dismayed where do I start toilet was smelling of damp cracked tiles on wall ceiling extractor fan did not work there was a window in the room that overlooked a courtyard but the dirt on it was a joke we were awoken eve day to the kitchen cooking breakfast and the dustbin men collecting the bins one of the ceiling lights in the main room did not work black marks on wall where head board for bed should be to be honest it was a tired place in need of a good restoration
The location was ideal. 5 minute walk from the beach front and town
The room. Hot water soon ran cold after running the bath and the shower never even ran warm water.. Bed was uncomfortable, paint peeling off the walls, damp on the ceiling, toilet made one hell of a noise after flushing.
