Cons:

We couldn't get showers while we was there because the water in the shower was freezing or boiling hot so we couldn't get in at all we couldn't open the window so it was like an oven in the room

Great location
Pros:

Loved the location of the Calypso as its close to Coral Island and the main promenade, the Indian attached to the hotel serves great food and reasonably priced, Adam and the team all are great to get along with

Absolutely Do Not stay here

The bed was clean. The only good thing about it

Cons:

The place was awful. It was a last minute booking as the place we booked was closed. The carpets throughout where threadbare. It's now also an indian restaurant. There where fights and arguments all through the night. The key to the main door also opened our room door, so theoretically doesn't that mean the key would open every door?? Absolutely shocking place.

Friendly host, delicious breakfasts and a nice waitress The room was cleaned and towels were changed daily

Cons:

The location is great but for some reason this is where the seagulls scream the most. Very poor soundproofing, it feels like they are walking on your head. There were many noisy nights. The staff does not react to this in any way. You have to solve these issues yourself. there was no hairdryer in the room, although it was declared .there were no sockets in the bathroom either

Pros:

No lifts not very clean no spoons for your drinks. Some facilities not working shower door didn't close so couldn't use the shower

Cons:

This is not a hotel, but a hostel with terrible conditions, the room had a bad smell. Unknown people were knocking on our room at night, it was very scary. The staff was friendly, but I do not recommend this hotel.

Pros:

The location was fantastic as we were in the central, staff were friendly and helpful, it was very basic in the room example tea and coffee never got refilled had to buy an extension lead as cudnt plug in the kettle, cudnt find the plus for the lamp so had to keep bathroom light on. Cleaners only emptied bins but didn't clean bedding or wash out bathroom. All in all a very pleasant stay. There was supposed b a games room but in closer inspection it wasn't there as pool table had been removed

Cons:

No clean bedding or bathroom, we were on level 2 and some of us struggled up and down the stairs, no refill of the tea/coffee and cudnt plug in kettle, no games room

Lovely staff and lovely place
Pros:

Staff were absolutely brilliant with us nice and clean and fresh will be back again soon and I would definitely recommend this place had no complaints for this spot perfect location where just about everything is a stone throw away
