The hotel was ideal for our stay, a great position near the Gare du Nord means you can get anywhere in the city easily.
However a special mention for the concierge who went out of his way to help resolve a problem we encountered! Thank you.
Small rooms but good location for train station. Lots of eateries in area and metro across the street.
We chose hotel so close to trains , expected noise but was a lot , next time a few blacks further would be better
Very noisy due to a number of mechanical appliances….air conditioning/ventilation units etc. HARDLY SLEPT!!!
A good value overall and a good hotel service
My spot was nice, top floor room, but the outside had alot of malingering wanderers and homeless, not a fault of the hotel, but i was approached a few times by tthe homless or buns looking for money, often with multiple languges attempting to get even a single euro
The hotel is old, dirty, smelly. The lights did not work. The window did not close properly. The neighborhood around the train station is full of drunks and homeless people. It is not safe. If staying in the area go with a brand name hotel.
I want to express my gratitude to Nadiah; she is truly the best. She is incredibly supportive and exceptionally nice.
Clean, comfortable bed. But very small rom.
Room conditions can be improved.
We did not stay here after seeing the hotel and the room. It was not acceptable to us.
The good: Very friendly front desk staff and closeness to train station.
The bad:
-AC on a timer, turns off every 20 minutes or so so rooms are hot, when you advertise AC as an amennity, and then restrict it, I'm going to give you a bad review.
-Window curtains didnt close well and light came in abundantly.
-bothroom door habdle a as broken and could not be opened from inside, you better have someone else in the room with you or youre locked if you get in and close the door.
-Noisy room from street and adjacent rooms. Moving furniture at 1 AM.
-Very obviously dirty room, dust everywhere, electrical outlets covered in dust.
-Dated rooms
-has 4 star sign at the entrance, in the US, the hotel would be at most, 2 stars.
I booked this hotel as it was close to Gare Du Nord. It was perfect. The staff were lovely. The room was comfortable. The bed fantastic. I would stay again.
Ok
Great staff.
Hotel was suitable for a one night stay. Location near Gare du Nord is ideal. Bed and room clean. Some outlets were broken
This hotel is not a 4* hotel.
The.staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel itself is tired and uninviting .
Our room was dirty, in need of deciorating and there were several.issues. Both the main door and the toilet door handles were broken or loose. One of the bedside "tables" was broken and on an angle so nothing could be put on it, the shelving unit was loose and unstable and the hair dryer was broken and only gave out cild air.
Bedding and towels were clean.
The whole hotel, including the bedroom all night, smelt of Indian cooking, not pleasant at all.
Due to this being graded as 4* we were subjected to a higher city tax charge - 1 night cost us €16.90.
Location for both Paris Est and Gard du Gord is excellent, although not a nice part of Paris.
Overpriced hotel and very disappointing.
Avoid!
Location is unbeatable, so close to Gare du Nord, also I walked back to the hotel from Montmartre easily, plenty of restaurants & shops around.
Room was ok.
The staff were great, very friendly and helpful and easy to deal with.
I didn't have a kettle in my room but was able to get a nice cup of tea at the end of a long day sightseeing from the reception area no problem.
Out dated place but nice reception. Pricy for what you get and need to pay for a simple breakfast but close to main station to get around.
Location ideal for eurostar, just a 2 minute walk from the station. Lovely welcome by name when we arrived, room was clean, shower powerful, definitely stay there again
