The hotel has 7 floors and unfortunately no elevator, due to the unusual design of the building.
The property recommends that guests leave luggage in the car during check-in. Once a room has been allocated the property will provide a porter to help with luggage and advise guests of the shortest route from car to room.
Please contact the property in advance for extra beds and children cots.
Children under 16 years are permitted in the pool and Spa area from 09:00 to 13:00
On arrival you will be required to present the card you have made your deposit/pre-payment with at hotel reception.
This card will be swiped for a minimum value of £50.00 plus any outstanding balances to allow charges to your room.
Hotel bedrooms are available to check in from 3.00pm
A damage deposit of £50 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Spa was perfect. Rooms were immaculate and great view of lake. Perfect location and ample parking. Barman / waiter called George made us feel welcome and looked after us by making service seem personal. Many thanks.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Beautiful Stay in the Lake District!
We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in the Lake District. The views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking and made the whole experience feel so special. Waking up to such a stunning view was unforgettable, and the hotel provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable getaway.
A special mention must go to Jack and George at the bar, who were absolutely outstanding! They were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive, making us feel so comfortable from the moment we arrived. Their service really went above and beyond, and the cocktails were simply amazing — some of the best we've ever had! They really added that extra special touch to our stay and made our evenings even more enjoyable.
The combination of the beautiful surroundings, stunning lake views and exceptional staff made this stay truly memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a gorgeous getaway in the Lake District.

Self service restaurant. Lack of a lift in a very climbing property. Building work meant all facilities not available. It is not a property for people with access issues.

Stayed before, good location to get in the to main town. Lake views are amazing.
The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful even moving to a more accessable room at no extra charge.
The food was simple but excellent with room service if required.
The spa treatments were really good, even with the therapist off sick they sent another from a sister hotel so my bookings were not cancelled.
I would definately book again.
There were 7 floors from top to bottom but they did not have a lift which was a issue for me as I have a problem with my legs.
Had a nice feel in the restaurant area and views
No lift, our pillows were all lumpy and horrible, bed was no comfortable and phone didn’t work in room to call reception
