The hotel has 7 floors and unfortunately no elevator, due to the unusual design of the building.
The property recommends that guests leave luggage in the car during check-in. Once a room has been allocated the property will provide a porter to help with luggage and advise guests of the shortest route from car to room.
Please contact the property in advance for extra beds and children cots.
Children under 16 years are permitted in the pool and Spa area from 09:00 to 13:00
On arrival you will be required to present the card you have made your deposit/pre-payment with at hotel reception.
This card will be swiped for a minimum value of £50.00 plus any outstanding balances to allow charges to your room.

A damage deposit of £50 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.

Had a very enjoyable stay. Although there was ongoing building work it didn't impact our stay at all. Staff were all very friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options. We were told on arrival we had got a free upgrade to a room with a lake view which was fantastic.
Sadly, the bed cover and robe had stains on which let it down a little bit.
Upgrade is good. Swimming pool 1st class. Friendly staff but need better training if they want this hotel to be above the rest.
I felt the manager needed to be accountable for bringing this hotel up to standard. The rules that apply, ie dress code, are not adhered to. No dressing room in the pool area, so wet clients are walking through the dining room while dinner service is happening. No internet for days, while office internet is functioning. Just a matter of knowing how to fix their modem. .Manager was off-hand and didn't seem to care. The ladies in the office were super 👌. I hope the owner is aware.

The parking wasn’t too great. However this wasn’t an issue from the hotel. This was due to the way of how people parked in the car park.

It is very modern and clean
The mattress was very soft so struggled to sleep.
The position of the room (looking down on the lake) and it's large size. The breakfast was always a very good one and we were lucky(?) that it was never too busy where you collect your food. The bar balcony had an even better view.
Breakfast serving area is restricted in size. The large car park was always quite full in the evenings and we only just got a space on a few occasions. We couldn't get down to the hotel's beach or garden because of spa construction ......and you cannot safely walk anywhere because of a lack of pavements on the main road.
