The hotel has 7 floors and unfortunately no elevator, due to the unusual design of the building.
The property recommends that guests leave luggage in the car during check-in. Once a room has been allocated the property will provide a porter to help with luggage and advise guests of the shortest route from car to room.

Children under 16 years are permitted in the pool and Spa area from 09:00 to 13:00
On arrival you will be required to present the card you have made your deposit/pre-payment with at hotel reception.
This card will be swiped for a minimum value of £50.00 plus any outstanding balances to allow charges to your room.

The position on the lake and the view from our room was really good. The breakfast was great too and the spa was well done.
Our room, especially the bathroom, was tired and in need of an upgrade. It was also quite stuffy, even though we had the patio door open. What was disappointing was their policy to only clean the room every other day. Nothing wrong in that I suppose, seeing as we’re not untidy people, but when they didn’t do it after three days we were running out of things like toilet roll and teabags and we had to ask. That wasn’t impressive.

Very far and very quiet just one hotel
The view was stunning 😍
The interior of the property was extremely well maintained, and both the rooms and public areas were very pleasant. The lake view from the restaurant and room was breathtaking, and both the reception area and spa were lovely. The staff were absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
It’s a shame that there is still construction work going on at the rear of the property that might dampen the mood for some. However, noise was minimal and as long as you didn’t keep looking for it within your view and stayed away from the rear parking lot you could ignore it altogether.

Loved the sizeable room, huge tv, comfy bed and enjoyed dinner there too.
Externally it was a little tired but it didn’t really bother us.
