Location fantastic, food and restaurant decor were top quality, room decor was really good, spa really relaxing, staff helpfull and professional
I think for a four star spa hotel it would have been nice to see some luxury toiletries in the room and the bed and pillows need updating, I also think to tie in with the luxury spa vibe the breakfast could have a few more additions I.e granola better coffee, and a more varied cooked food option, I think a welcome drink on your first visit to the spa would also be amazing, overall stay was really good and not really a complaint but the devil is in the detail ❤️
Beautiful surprise for my partner birthday
The staff were so welcoming
Beautiful views
the spa and again the staff were so friendly
Staying here for 2 night for a break to my wife who’s mother has recently passed away.
No sleep all night due to young drunk couple in next room fighting. Told the staff but took no notice.
They just kept on serving them alcohol.
The Junior suite was lovely and comfortable and the views of the lake were spectacular. The breakfast was very good and the evening meal was lovely and good value. It was nice that our room was near to and on the same level as the reception.
As my husband and I are disabled it was surprising to see there were no designated disabled parking spaces. One night he had to park in the lower carpark and climb the steps up into the hotel. It was also a shame that we couldn't use the swimming pool as there were too many flights of stairs for me to climb.
Relaxing and food was lovely

Staff are friendly, down to earth and really attentive. We had such a lovely stay. Everything was perfect.
When we stayed round we found hair in the sink plug. And the bed was not the cleanest as it had a lot of hair on it and I am really dissapointed as I had high expectations for this establishment.
Room was great with a perfect view.

The team delivered exceptional service, with Darius providing particularly invaluable assistance. He ensured our comfort and proactively engaged the chef to accommodate our dietary needs. His performance merits significant commendation. The culinary offerings were outstanding, ranging from the fish and chips to the Angus burger, prepared flawlessly by the kitchen staff. Our experience was further enhanced by the remarkably relaxing spa and sauna facilities, with the hot tub being a particular highlight.
Complimentary breakfast could be impoved didnt realise I was missing a sausage until the second day when I got a sausage and the Complimentary breakfast was significantly improved
The hotel was 10 minutes from Windermere. Hotel well presented.
They did send a message to say that they were undergoing a little construction but we heard it practically all day and were kept up until about 11 o’clock because the hotel rooms are below the restaurant so every footstep you can hear and the chairs scraping across the floor all day long until the restaurant closed. The breakfast was an embarrassment, one egg, one piece of bacon, one piece of tomato, one piece of black pudding, one mushroom, one hash brown And a pot of beans. The saddest full English breakfast I’ve ever seen. The staff were very accommodating, and some of them were extremely rude.
The spa was dark and depressing with a sauna that was barely warm. I would never stay again!
Lovely break and fabulous facial - thank you Jessica, my skin feels fabulous.
Really nice spa and tasty breakfast too.
One tiny gripe - a bit more vegetation food at the bar and I’d be 100% happy, that said, great staff, lovely view and really nice room. Thank you.
