The staff were super friendly. The room was one of the newer ones, which was lovely and the shower was fantastic.
I would've scored higher, but no one cleaned my room all week, which I didn't mind; but it meant the tea, coffee and water station wasn't replenished, so I went and bought more.
It’s close to what we need, staff amazing very friendly and helpful, definitely stay in the future

Right from the start I was delighted with this hotel. It was very close to where I was going, the room was ready on arrival, it was clean and new. The staff were lovely as was the outdoor patio area where we enjoyed a lovely pint. The bar was cosy and friendly. Our room was tidy and modern with nice toiletries. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again if I get the chance.

Es un barrio residencial, genial porque te alejas del centro y además hay opciones para tomar algo y cenar. Y tan solo a 25 min andando del jaleo...la habitación estaba nueva, y muy cómoda para una persona sola

El check in y el check out fue muuy rapido. La cama era cómoda, y estaba a unos 20-25 minutos en bus de Princess Street
La habitacion era muy antigua, el ducharse era una odisea para poder encontrar la temperatura correcta sin morir de frio o quemarte literalmente. Igualmente el lavabo, lavarse la cara era o con agua congelada o agua hierviendo.
El plato de ducha tenia una alfombra de goma en el suelo que no inspiraba comodidad y una cortina en lugar de una mampara.
La calefacción no caldeaba demasiado el baño, vimos un aparato que creíamos que era un mini calefactor para el baño cuando nuestra sorpresa fue, que era un ventilador del que no pudimos hacer uso estando a 2 grados en Edimburgo.
Estabamos a linea de calle, no podiamos abrir las cortinas si no queriamos que nos viese todo el mundo y la luz de la habitación iluminaba muy poco.
The room was significantly bigger than I expected. There was water, coffee, tea, and shortbread in the room. It was always quiet. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The location is convenient, and you can reach the city center by bus in just a few stops.

Przyjemna okolica i blisko na autobus. Pokoik był malutki, ale sam w sobie był czysty, cichy, dobrze się spało. Można było zrobić sobie herbatę, grzejnik działał.
Nie przeszkadza mi wspólna łazienka, natomiast wiele do życzenia pozostawała jej czystość i kiepski odpływ wody. Nie ma osobnej toalety i łazienki, więc jeżeli ktoś się myje, no to do toalety trzeba biec na dół koło baru.
The room was fine, it was a little way from the pub so the noise wasn't a concern. The pub was also closed when I went to bed at midnight. The room was well stocked with tea and coffee and I had an accessible shower/bathroom which was nice though I didn't need it to be accessible.
I had a view of the outside keg storage, which would be fine but the motion activated security light across from my window brightly illuminated the room every few minutes when something moved past (cats, birds, idk) . Didn't get to sleep until 3am.
Check out was 7-11, I got there at 8 and the bar was locked, lights off and there were no staff about to checkout with. I rang for the night porter (buzzer is only outside so not really for checkout) and eventually someone came and unlocked the bar and took my key but he didn't seem to expect me so I think I was just lucky. Would have had to just leave the key in the room otherwise and risk some sort of issue as I had a bus to catch. Didn't have time to complain about the light.
I imagine they make all their money during the Fringe and just don't make the effort otherwise.
