Hôtel Le Mirador

We were not informed that there was no drinkable water in the room before we saw the sign telling us not to drink the water. And no drinkable water was left in the room for us to drink. The next morning we found an almost empty water distributer from what we were able to fill our own bottle and finally brush our teeth. We asked questions but no one seems to be able to talk to us. The next morning, the cleaning lady was able to answer our questions. The hotel really need a tender loving care. The floor was so sticky in the breakfast room and no one cleaned the table when a family left so we had to clean it oursefl with napkins. First and last time we went there.

Over the past 20 years I have stayed here and always been very happy. I had not returned in 6 years and it has gone severely downhill. Something is wrong!! I stayed 3 nights and my room wasn't cleaned at all. It was filthy and clothes and suitcase soaked up the odor -- just dreadful. Couldn't drink the water either. For your own health, stay away and perhaps the police should be notified. There's really something fishy going on here. So disappointed. If it hadn't been a holiday weekend and I could have gone to a different hotel I would have run to one. I was trapped. Hotels.com should remove them from its list.

We were a group of 10 and all rooms were dirty although they said it had been cleaned. The hotel has been without potable water for over 3 years yet other places across the street have good water!
The towels and bed sheets were stained, which they said was because of their water! It smelled very bad and I was certainly glad to leave the next morning! The cost outweighs the value you get! Breakfast was nothing to talk about for sure. This place looks like it’s a front for something else! STAY AWAY!!!!

I was very disappointed with this Hotel.The room they gave up was dirty they haden't even vacuumed the carpets.The room was smelly.The young man at the front desk was very nice though he changed our room immediatly when requested.The second room was as smelly but at least a bit cleaner.The outdoor pool was green.The indoor pool wasn't inspiring either.The outdoor view was cool and the little restaurant next door was very good.It's sad because this place could have alot of potential if it was better taken care of.

Nous ne pouvions boire l'eau de l'hôtel. Nous nous sommes brossé les dents avec de l'eau en bouteille...
Nous avions une porte jardin dans notre chambre, mais la moustiquaire n'était pas installée et était trouée. Le tapis de la chambre était très taché et dégageait une odeur épouvantable. Nous avions un appareil téléphonique, mais il n'était pas branché, et nous n'avions pas de fil. La connexion wifi était trop faible dans la chambre, il fallait aller à la réception.
Souvent, il n'y avait pas de personnel à la réception.

My group of 9 booked this hotel for close prox to Granby zoo. When we showed up & went to room, there was a sign on mirror stating the water was under investigation...found out it has been for 3 years....You can't drink or shower in it. The rooms smelled musty and the AC unit was open to outside to let all the bugs in. The indoor pool had no water in it and continental breakfast was corn flake, tang and hard boiled eggs on a tray. The wifi password and service looked like it was from neighbors & did not work. Also the ceiling tiles in bathroom were full of mold and sagging down. The staff hang out by kids play structure and smoke on their breaks. I would not recommend staying here to anyone unfortunately. It needs a major overhaul renovation. Too bad, because it was a nice location.

Hotel was exactly as we expected. Dated and older but very clean. Continental breakfast, no hot food.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
It is a great deal for lower-budget hotels.

Always like staying here. Quiet, friendly staff and always accommodating. Get a room on the back side. Beautiful view of the lake.

L'hôtel est à l'abandon. La photo ne correspond à la réalité. C'est vieillot et mal entretenu.Notre premier coup d'oeil à l'arrivée, on voit une rampe qui tombe et l'asphalte percée à certains endroits. C'est peu rassurant. L'hôtel aurait besoin d'une cure de rajeunissement. Au moins, c'était propre et tranquille. Pour une nuit, ça pouvait faire. Une chance que c'était pas chère.

Notre chambre n’a pas de détecteur de fumée fonctionnel, il est laissé démonté aussi plafond. Les rideaux sont à moitié arrachés, une énorme toile d’araignée était au plafond. Aucune moustiquaire aux portes patio, empêchant d’ouvrir les portes pour aérer. Le frigo disponible coule, les lits n’ont pas de draps housse et sentent la poussière. La salle de bains est très vieille, beaucoup de calcaire partout. Des traces de dégâts d’eau sont apparents.
