I needed a soft bed, hot shower and internet. Along with great food,a decent amber draft and a Jameson to smooth out the road bumps. Awesome service. Thank you Tina. Great value stop.
Not the Ritz-Carlton but I'm on the Alcan to Alaska again.
Starting to look a bit dated. Someone seems to have started renovation in the corridor then stopped. Contrary to the description here there is no 24 hour reception, you have to go to the bar. Not sure what you do when it is close. I also never saw the attached restaurant open.
Clean, dry and warm place to stay after hunting. Just go to the bar if you have any issues. Ranjit thank you for friendliness and your attentive nature. Pizza and rib appetizer from the restaurant was great...the pita bread not so much. Wish you success. Will be back next hunting trip.
This is my second time visiting Cache Creek for the Graffiti Weekend events. The lodging itself is adequate (clean beds and bathroom), perfect if you're just looking for a place to just rest your head for the night. The location is more than worth it though; there is a pub and restaurant on the ground floor, and none of the Graffiti events were more than a 10 min walk away! Coming back for Graffiti next year.
Booked a room a few days in advance. When we got there we found out the Hotel doesn't have a receptionist and I had to ask around how to check in.
I was told the Hotel Bartender was suppose to take care of hotel customers.
Surely she had no record of bookings. Nevertheless she accepted my credit card payment and gave us a key to our room.
Heater in that room didn't work and it didn't even had adjusting knobs!
Tried to lock that room but the lock didn't work so went back downstairs to that bartender but she was too busy to help and sent some other guy to help us. That gentleman was quite friendly and grabbed the other key to a room which he says was suppose to be good. guess what? there were no working lights in that one though he tried to make them work!
So he went downstairs and came back with a key to a different room.
But in that one there was no heater, only portable air conditioner.
Have to mention it was the end of NOVEMBER!
So at this point I said we don't have all night and I'm not going to check all the rooms for living condition.
That gentleman says he'll be happy to return my money but he couldn't do it because he didn't know how and doesn't know password for issuing a refund and couldn't get a hold of the owner.
Owner apparently doesn't care much about the place because it looks not maintained at all.
We ended up renting a room in a hotel next door.
Well at this point I'm still waiting for a refund!
Value for money is right here, I was just looking for a cheap bed for the night and found it. Room was basic, bathroom looked old and tired but was clean. Might not be everyone's thing, but having a pub attached was a bonus and staff were very friendly.
Arrived at hotel no one at reception just a small note saying to see bar maid ,went through to bar she was not expecting us but went upstairs to see if rooms were ready and came back with keys room was tired looking, and view out of window was two dirty old baths on top a flat roof door lock and frame needed repairing was not very secure when locked would not take a lot of force to open all in all it was a wreck of a place could not wait to get out of there one step up from being homeless
We stayed here a couple of times while making a film in the area - the rooms are basic, very clean and safe. The best part was the welcoming and generous host Rajnit who facilitated endless and numerous requests with a smile - he printed documents for us, helped with local vendors, everything we asked he provided with such kindness I feel forever grateful to him.
Stayed here one night it's not the four seasons but we just needed a bed to sleep in which were fine. The bar was fun and in the hotel which was nice and close :-) was in town for the races had the best time ever! Close to gas stations and resteraunts
My family and I have passed by the oasis hotel and we were all amazed by the new renovations and were very pleased, with the services. The new owner is very friendly, helpful, and has great customer service skills.
I had to make a stop at the Oasis Hotel and was really worried because of the horrid reviews I read before going there. The Hotel was renovating, since it's under new management. I DID have a good experience at their bar; it was clean, it was fun, and it had a comfy atmosphere. I just thought i'd let everyone know that the hotel might be in a better condition now.
we stayed in the hotel , no hot water , one key to out room that sorta worked , no clock radio , no towels ,no air conditioning, a shower that did not work ,rooms left open full of garbage and food boxes and dirty linens ,front desk clerk was tha baker for restaurant had no idea haow to check people in , only accepts cash for rooms , clerk refunded us saying our room was unfit, she contacted owner to come down he refused to deal with the problems , bathroom in lounge was the dirtiest i have ever seen , only way to fix this place is to burn it down and start over .
i stopped there on my way by Greyhound to the cariboo , i was sure not pleased with the conditions of your bathrooms( Ladies} it was so dirty i could not use them, also everything about the conditions of your Hotel entrance was not good, It doesn,t look very appelling to anyone travelling throught your town & stopping there for a break by BUS. I am surpise that GREYHOUND use your HOTEL for a stop break. your hotel surroundings are GROSS?
Needed a place to stay in Cache Creek. Came upon the Oasis Hotel which also houses the Greyhound depot and is connected to a pub and a beer and wine store. Had a great lunch at their restaurant and couldn't believe how cheap the rooms were. The cheapest in Cache Creek. I came in and was surprised had a huge TV, microwave, fridge, and all new blankets, really nice room. Had a great stay and then jumped on the greyhound. Very conveniently located, right in center of town and great rates with friendly staff.
