Die Unterkunft hatte ihren eigenen Charme, und der Strandabschnitt war wirklich sehr schön

Die Lage der Unterkunft war etwas abseits vom Geschehen. Außerdem hat mir ein Abzieher im Badezimmer gefehlt.

Gemütlichr ruhiger Abschnitt mit leckerem Essen und sehr freundlichem Personal. Man läuft immer Barfuss auf Sand, hat Schatten und es ist nicht zu überlaufen.

The location was amazing, right in the beach. Air conditioning was great. Friendly staff helped with transfers.

The bungalow’s by the seaside are beautiful, clean and the facilities were great, live music, great food and drinks, friendly staff.

Cons:

We did upgrade from the standard fan, the owner was amazing and sorted this right away. It was definitely worth the additional fee.

Right on the beach with a nice restaurant. The single fan did an ok job of keeping the air circulating making sleeping possible.

Cons:

The notion of a romantic, beachfront chalet is ruined by the old shacks which the staff tried hard to make clean and comfortable. The electrics are dangerously exposed. WiFi is sketchy away from the restaurant.

Perfect Stay Perfect Host
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Moonhut Bungalow in Samui. Our budget beach hut was lovely—simple, comfortable, and just steps from a beautiful, quiet stretch of beach. The location was perfect: peaceful but still within a short beach walk to other great bars and restaurants.

A special thank you to Jane, who was an amazing host from start to finish. She went above and beyond to help us with everything during our stay. She arranged excursions for us at prices cheaper than booking online, organised taxis to and from the hotel, helped us book the boat to our next island, and sorted motorbike hire while we were there. It made the whole trip so much easier.

What really stood out was how helpful and available she was—throughout our stay she was always at the end of the phone if we needed anything. That level of care and hospitality really made a difference.

The restaurant was also lovely, and the beach was quiet and beautiful. Overall we couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely recommend staying here.

Cons:

For a budget hotel, there is nothing we didn’t like.
