Overall, the hotel services were good; however, there were a few areas where improvements could enhance the overall customer experience. For example, the bed sheets appeared quite worn, and despite requesting a change twice, the replacements still seemed worn and had visible pen marks. Additionally, the bathrobes had noticeable brown stains, which made them uncomfortable to use.
This hotel left me with the warmest impressions, largely thanks to its amazing team. The staff here deserve the highest praise—they are incredibly tactful, welcoming, and professional. I have stayed in this hotel now 4 times in the last year and generally its been a fairly good experience. The rooms are perhaps a little tired, but generally everything works well, bathrooms are nice. Food in the property is ok.
This last stay was however dissappointing based on the attitude of a particualr male front desk staff member. At check out I asked if it was possible to pay for an additional half day to check out 6pm. I was told this was possible the previous evening when I spoke to the front desk. This was not possible as they apparently had additional bookings over night - I'm ok with this, but what I'm not ok with is the arrogant attitude I got back from the front desk person when I asked. I dont need flowery speaches, but at least a civil attitude and perhaps an "I'm very sorry, but we cant help you" would be nice. Based on this person, I will do my best to avoid staying at Avari next time.
