Megaland Hotel

Stay during Imlek holiday, this hotel is one of the option which is near to city hall by car. But since there some re arrange traffic, all area seems too far from.
Free water refill, there some dispenser outside room. Parking area limited, too many car and difficult access to in and out.

We booked a deluxe type room. The hotel is in the center of Solo, precisely on Jl. Slamet Riyadi but the atmosphere in the room is not noisy, calm and very comfortable. Security was very helpful in crossing our car on a very busy road. The receptionist is very friendly. Fast check in process. Delicious and varied food, friendly staff. The rooms are clean and spacious, complete with amenities and there is a hairdryer in the room. Clean swimming pool. Highly recommend coming back here again. Thank you Megaland

Nice hotel

Stay hear for improptu 3 days trip to Solo. It is located near Stasiun Balapan Solo and in the middle of the city. The furniture need new improvement, the table where I stayed is quite slanted hence too afraid to put anything on top of it. It is a well known hotel, so you can use various transportation to go there, including Solo Train. Best thing is the room is clean, they clean and refill bath amenities everyday.

The location is strategic, they have good service. Clean,but have old onterior and the breakfast is not variative and the taste is so so.

The dont have children playground, the pool is also small. I think at the time, because i stay on peak seasson period, the price is also too expensive.

For someone who looking for a hotel in central area of Solo, yes this hotel is the right choice. When you stay at this hotel, almost every well-known place in central solo is only 5-minutes drive or walk. You just need to cross the main road to visit RS Kasih Ibu or Diamond Convention Center, or you can drive for 5 minutes to nearest mall.

They have a huge parking lot, and a lot of traditional food on the sidewalk area.. reasonable price for me.

I stayed 1 day in Megaland Hotel. The parking space was very spacious, the lobby was large on both levels. The interesting part of the room was that they separate between toilet and bathroom with the bathroom sink in the middle of it, very convenient. They also have refrigerator, not just cooler for drinks. WIFI ok. They provide swimming pool but no gym. The breakfast was standard. The hot water was bad (sometimes it's not hot at all) and the TV program was only good on local program, everything else was blur, you can only hear the voice. The aircon remote was confusing. if they improve the hot water installation and the TV Program I think they will make an excellent hotel.

Stayed one night for bussines purpose, arrived 4 in the morning by train and the hotel staf more than happy to accomodate us to open 2 room first for refreshing before an event in the morning, clean and quite large room, the only complain for me is why the need to seperate the toilet and the shower so its kinda hard and awkward with my colleague, but other than that, friendly staff, lots of variety in the breakfast buffet and most of all the hotel location close from major tourist attraction!! all and all a nice comfortable stay

Despite the name, this hotel on Solo's main road is not that big, consisting of 3 levels of rooms and the ground floor for lobby, restaurant, and meeting rooms. I also think it's more suited to a 3-star rating than a 4-star (as claimed on the hotel website), judging from the facilities. Beside the quite inviting swimming pool, there's not much else. There's no gym, and the "fitness & spa" next to the lobby is actually just a few rooms with massage beds.

The bedrooms have a decent size and simple decoration. Shower and toilet are separated and the area lies in obstructed view from the sleeping area, which is a good thing (especially if you're staying with someone you're not intimate with) because the cubicles are made of frosted glass. I don't like the shower head, though, it only gives tiny water sprays.

If you are in Solo for a short stay or business purposes, and not expecting a lot of frills from your accommodation, then the easily accessible Move Megaland could be an option. Just across the hotel there's a mini-mart (Indomaret) and next to the hotel there's a 24-hour cafe that is popular as a late hang-out place.

Spent two days in Solo in Megaland Hotel is an amazing experience. Large rooms and cleanliness bedclothes is a dream for every traveler. And I got it at the Megaland Hotel in Jalan Slamet RIyadi Solo.

Its a good hotel. The ac in the room is cold. Quite big room.

The minus one for me is that the restroom, they have 2 separate glass cubical in the room!! One is the shower the other one is the wc. Why u make such a restroom. My daughters even were shy and confused to have shower there as it is blurred tranparant glass and there is no lock for both cubical. You can see someone naked there having shower, not clearly but you can see it. Eventho we are family but it was not a good idea to have such stupid restroom.

So Better you put curtain and lock and change the shower one to the wc. And its difficult if you have to change the clothes, really.

Spacious room, clean, friendly and helpful staff.

Room is completely over the top for the price offered!

I was staying with my family (including an infant) for 3 days 2 night, upon arrival check in was efficient so we can get to the room immediately.

Will come back definitely.

Nice hotel located at Jl. Slamet Riyadi near famous restaurant Diamond. easy access to some leisure and culinary destination such as Kota Barat, Manahan, Keraton and others. Room size big enough and clean, wide parking area. recommended hotel

Check this hotel trough 2 app, tripadvisor and traveloka, I neet a hotel near city center so i dont have any trouble with food and entertainment.

This hotel located in the heart of solo city, if you walk in solo walk you will find 2 mall (solo grand mall and paragon), if you look for cultural you will find that in danar hadi batik museum.

This hotel have a spatious room, and fortunately the hotel upgraded my room from deluxe to executive room with pool view without any charge (lucky me),

Room service was fast respond, if only have trouble with bathroom, i cannot move from shower to hand shower, the breakfast menu was so-so, but if found that they have a delicious chicken porridge.

Overall, if you come to solo either for bussines or with your family, you can missed this hotel

A friend of mine recommended me to this hotel. The hotel looks small but in fact it has big rooms. It is located at the main street of Solo. Close to Purwosari train station, Grand mall, many night food stalls and a convenience store across the road.

We stayed in Solo only for one night, and I chose this hotel because I read good review about it in TripAdvisor. When we got there, we got exactly the same feeling and review that's been given with others. Our rooms were spacious and during the peak season, the rate were very value of money. Good choices for breakfast. Very nice and informative staff. The wifi in the rooms were slow but it's OK.
Only once complain of the water quality in the swimming pool, needs to be cleaned soon. Definitely will come back to this hotel in the future. Keep up the good work!

Dengan harga yang diberikan, mutu yang diberikan bagus. Hotel bersih dengan kamar yang luas. Layanan resepsionis, restoran dan petugas keamanan (satpam) ramah dan membantu.
Lokasi hotel strategis untuk akses ke berbagai pelosok kota Solo, namun disarankan untuk mempersiapkan kendaraan karena untuk jalan kaki agak lumayan jauh dengan pusat-pusat destinasi wisata.
Parkir kendaraan masih merupakan lahan terbuka sehingga kalau siang panas. Akan lebih bagus kalau hotel memberikan fasilitas tambahan parkir dengan peneduh (atap).

Design hotel ini sangat baik, dr lobby hingga kamarnya. Pelayanan sangat baik. Ac sangat dingin. Wifi kurang baik. Saya tinggal di kamar 204. Tembok banyak coretan. Yg membuat saya berfikir tidak akan kembali ke hotel ini krn semua seprei, sarung bantal guling, selimut, handul ada noda nya. Sudah di ganti 2x masih bernoda dimana2. Handuknya entah apa warnanya harusnya awalnya mungkin putih. Kalo saya blm bayar hotel ini pastinya saya sudah pindah hotel. Walaupun demikian saya bisa tidur baik krn kasur dan ac nyaman.
