Decent shower.
Curtains didn’t block the sun very well.
Convenient
I have to say, the staff were excellent. The young lady dealt very well with a problematic customer before us very polite and courteous. Couldn’t have been more helpful for us.
The room was surprisingly decent. I have to admit I didn’t go in with any high expectations but it was actually better than I expected the bed was incredibly comfortable. A lovely king-size. The shower worked perfectly well. Everything was very clean.
And booking via Booking.com I couldn’t believe how good value it was in comparison to booking elsewhere
To be honest for the money we paid nothing we will definitely visit again if we have to make a stop over in Hampshire
It is well located
There is not other option to eat than mcdonalds
Was clean and the reception was good
Both South and north had same post code and I got lost locating my actual hotel
Great position right on A34,use it as stopover when leaving Portsmouth ferry terminal.Easy access to food outlets and shops ie 4 minute walk
Early morning noise from hgv's starting up but not a major problem
Location and price
There was a musty smell and the plug and overflow were a bit crusty
Good location and facilities
Nothing
The staff were really friendly .. stayed there 5 nights and the room wasn't cleaned at all even after I put the clean my room sign outside the door ..
The bed was really soft and the mattress was past it's amount of usable years and needed replacing
At nearly £60 per night I thought was expensive .. the following week they wanted £90 a night .. decided against it
The room wasn't cleaned in 5 nights of stay .
The bed too soft
No fridge ..
Expensive
Location
Slight musty smell to room
Staff at check-in very informative.
TV did not work and when you are a hotel at a motorway service station, that is quite important.
Bedding not great either, covers not good at covering duvet and pillows inside.
Macdobalds breakfoast or Costa niether were great options
Not getting a parking fine would have made the stay better and not having to spend 2 hours trying to sort it out and getting nowhere I can't find a telephone number that works or an emails address to try and rectify this £60 fine overall making it a very expensive one night stay
Very good location, surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the major road, room was clean
The check-in was a nightmare. The receptionist denied that we had booked two double rooms. She was adamant we had only booked one and she only had one. Saying things like ‘booking.com do this all the time’ ‘the booking reference won’t make any difference’. It turned out she was only checking by one surname, she refused to check anything other than the surname of the person who booked and the surnames were different for the second room. It was 10.45pm at night we were exhausted after a ferry crossing back the UK we had paid for two double rooms and she was saying we only had one. She also said if we didn’t want to all share the one room we would have to find somewhere else. She just stated that we would need to contact booking.com for a refund. We really thought at gone 11pm we were going to have to drive away and find somewhere else to stay. She said it happened twice the day before and she did it to us - how many people is she doing this to? Other than the check-in the other issues were that the room door did not lock I could only use the extra security latch. It didn’t bother me as a male traveller but a single female traveller may have felt unsafe being unable to lock the door properly. One of the two bed side lights didn’t work. Room was hot, 25 degrees overnight, but a fan was provided.
Convenient. Excellent staff.
My room was extremely noisy on this occasion. The window had to be open due to the extreme heat, but the traffic noise made it hard to sleep.
Easy access for work
Bed was a little out of shape to one side
