Would not recommend or stay here again.
Pros:

Nothing, the room was not air-conditioned.

Lack of empathy from the hotel given the extreme heat conditions France were experiencing.

Pour un prochain séjour, nous retiendrons dans un hôtel voisin avec la même vue
Pros:

L"exposition et la vue sur mer directement depuis le sillon est bien évidemment le point fort, c'est l'atout de cet endroit.
Rien à dire du personnel, tout s'est bien passé.

Cons:

Chambre single convertie en chambre double. Beaucoup trop exigüe, espace insuffisant pour les bagages. Trop sombre à notre goût et pour ce que l'on nous propose habituellement.

Staff unsympathetic about our need for a drink after a hot car journey.

Cons:

We arrived hot after a long car journey. We were not offered a drink on arrival. We went to the bar/restaurant to buy tea & water, but they refused to serve us unless we ordered food. Unfriendly & uncaring. We stayed in 9 hotels on our trip and this was our only negative experience.

Pros:

Très bon emplacement pas très loin des remparts
La salle de petit-déjeuner donne sur la mer. Génial. On accède à la plage directement de la salle.
Petit-déjeuner varié et copieux. Des fruits frais.
Petit hôtel de charme

Cons:

Chambre pas très grande. Pas de clim mais un ventilateur au plafond qui fonctionne très bien.

Also wegen der Lage gerne wieder, aber das Zimm ist viel zu klein. Es gibt keine MiniBAr im Zimmer

La situation géographique proche de la citadelle et du bord de mer L’espace ouvert au dernier étage, 5ème, qui permet d’avoir une vue incroyable

Cons:

Le manque de climatisation dans la chambre. Nous sommes arrivés pendant la canicule et les nuits ont été dures, de fait dormi fenêtre ouverte sur la rue un peu bruyante

Nice location with an interesting history.
Pros:

Yes, the public spaces and the wall-to-wall leopard-skin carpeting look a bit tired, but the room was immaculate, comfortable, and very well served our needs. The big plus for me is that this hotel was the base for United States Army snipers during the battle for St-Malo with whom photographers Lee Miller and David Scherman were embedded. Free street parking can be found nearby.

Pros:

Directly located at beach and promenade with amazing beach and seaside view. Lovely rooftop bar. Helpful and charming staff. Within walking distance to the old town. Acceptable for a short stay to explore the town. EV charging option.

Cons:

Pictures suggest larger rooms than in reality which barely accommodated to store a suitcase. Unfortunately the entire hotel feels a bit run down - especially doorway carpets. With no external breakfast options in vicinity, we went with the hotel breakfast which was below expectations.

Cons:

Staff unfriendly disinterested if you're English don't come here never spoke to us for 3 days never told us there was breakfast and a restaurant we could use didn't give us a code to get back in at night we had to ring the bell no air coming the room if it's windy and rainy but hot you can't open balcony doors so it was roasting told not to use the lift to use stairs but we were on top floor .we have been in France for 15nights anf this was the most unhelpful ignorant staff of them all .won't be going again most disappointing and really upsetting
