We enjoyed our weekend getaway here and would definitely consider coming back!
Pros:

Great location right on the boardwalk and downtown Bethany. The staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. 😋

Loved the location & the direct ocean view; would really appreciate the parking to be included w/my stay.

Location to the ocean & boardwalk ; decent continental breakfast. Staff were courteous & empathetic to our needs.

Cons:

Extra charge for parking; cooking smells from guest throughout the hotel floor, & in the room we stayed in. The smell of cooked fish permeated my room even after the door to my hotel room was closed. Our first room smelled of curry or turmeric spice. Wet floors in the hotel room we stayed in. My feet were never dry due to damp floors; water leaking out from underneath the lvp flooring. Our beds were ok but could use a little upgrade.

Decent- bit over priced for the quality but location and staff make up for it and we would stay again

The location is fantastic, the staff are friendly and nice and Ocean 99 had great food and service

Cons:

A few minor changes would make this place exceptional. 1. Bed Linens are stained and towels have been laundered past their life-sandpaper quality it time to replace. 2. It’s 2026 time to provide inspire charging for electric vehicles 3. Sleeper sofa mattress are paper thin and every spring can be felt 4. Breakfast needs fresh fruit and non-processed food options

Location, nice sized room.

Cons:

Cleaning should be daily specially for guests with toddlers. Beach umbrella service lacks a bit of customer orientation and flexibility of time.

Great Location, but.... Tired hotel. Below Marriott standards and nowhere near "best ever Marriott." Your lead / featured review from May 2025 is far from accurate and not a service to your followers. Check the hotel website for the mixed reviews it gets before you spend over $900 per night in season.

Don’t expect any kind of service
Pros:

Beautiful location but very poor service all around. There is no housekeeping - they came once in four days and just replaced the towels and emptied the garbage. Didn’t even make the bed let alone change the sheets. Breakfast is poor. They kept claiming the restaurant was open for lunch/dinner but never once were any staff seen, nor were the tables set for service. Staff is unprofessional.

Pros:

The rooms were updated and clean. It’s at a wonderful location in Bethany Beach.

Cons:

My family would’ve enjoyed more of an outdoor pool, not sure an area that sits outside on a good day.

Family, friendly, clean, and felt very safe. Great staff.
Pros:

I think I’ve ever been to a place that felt so safe, so family friendly, and just beautiful! The hotel itself was a vacation. The upper level gym was nice for a quick workout and the pool was a nice break from the sand and salt. Also very nice that we could walk to the beach and be there in less than three minutes.

Great stay in Bethany!
Pros:

Great access to the beach. Best ocean views (including front row to a pod of dolphins). Spacious room for a small family. Thank you to Diveanna at the front desk who delivered popcorn to our room when a late night craving for myself and toddler struck. Super grateful for a late checkout so we could enjoy another day at the beach without rushing.

Very expensive.
Pros:

Good breakfast, staff was nice.

Cons:

Our first room: cabinets were dirty-like someone dropped a soda bottle and it splashed everywhere, curtains had stains on them, towels had stains on them. All the plates and cutlery needed re-washed before using. The dishwasher didn’t work. No exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Our second room (because we had to switch) the fitted sheet on the bed had a lot of hair stuck to it, so I had to use the extra fitted sheet from the closet.
It was sooooo expensive. Pet’s are allowed.

Is it wasn’t for being in the beach, I’d be asking for a refund of some kind, 2500 for 3 nights is a little crazy but I

A lot of the furniture in the lobby and our room needs to be cleaned or replaced -Many stains!

Our outlets in side table didn’t charge phones!

No daily room clean

The flys near the breakfast is a bad turn off
