Coup de coeur !
Pros:

Charmant hôtel où tout est confortable, propre et proche de tout. Il y a de l'eau chaude.
Le propriétaire Leo est adorable, drôle, hyper disponible et serviable (il est français). Chaque jour il vous envoi de super recommandations d'activités gratuites à faire ou à voir dans Mérida. Il nous a recommandé un tour de plusieurs cenotes et gros coup de coeur car nous étions seul à chaque cenote.
Très bon petit déjeuner. Merci à Augustín aussi (employé de nuit) qui a été super serviable et toujours avec le sourire.

Cons:

Manque juste un petit frigo dans la chambre qui permettrait d'avoir de l'eau fraîche à tout moment. Cela dit, chaque soir (possible même en journée) nous avions droit à une petite bouteille d'eau fraîche 😊

Tolles Hotel mit perfektem Gastgeber und super Lage!
Pros:

Leo ist ein super hilfsbereiter und netter Gastgeber, schickt einem täglich Tipps zu Events in der Stadt, organisiert Ausflüge und man kann ihn alles fragen, Lage ist top, zentral und trotzdem ruhig, man fühlt sich sicher, alles sauber, Zimmer wird täglich gemacht, kostenloses Trinkwasser.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war leider etwas einfach: Obst mit Joghurt und einem süßen Teilchen. Trotzdem ausreichend aber es gab keine Abwechslung.

This little hotel is a treasure from the past
Pros:

This is what I imagine old Merida was like. A friendly little hotel on the square, run by a group of people who genuinely care about you and truly want you to love Merida as much as they do.

Cons:

I'd prefer to focus on what i did like. The location is great; close to everything, but far enough away that it's quiet and peaceful. The staff and, particularly, the owner go out of their way to guarantee that you will have a great stay. They all went above and beyond in assuring that I enjoyed the city that they clearly love.

Pros:

I stayed in La Piazzetta twice. The service was exceptional both times. Staff were beyond courteous and went above the call of duty to make sure I was comfortable and well cared for. It seems to be almost a calling for them to care for guests. The rooms themselves are bright, comfortable, and extremely clean. Downstairs is a delightful coffee space and a courtyard filled with plants. There is also an upstairs courtyard with lots of plants and a hammock, for courtyard-facing rooms. Street-facing rooms have a small balcony. I will absolutely stay here the next time I'm in Mérida.

Cons:

A marching band practices in the park across from the hotel in the evenings, but I was able to cover the noise just fine with a white noise video on my phone.

Brilliant little hotel with great service, close to the centre of Merida
Pros:

Situated on a nice little square, close enough to the centre to walk in but a little away from the tourist bustle. Great restaurants close by. An easy 10 min walk to the bus station for Oriente buses to Celestún. Leo very helpfully provided a list of all the free events in Mérida every night of our 3 different one-night stays and gave useful help on transport - much appreciated. He also took care of our cases while we travelled - brilliant! We loved the plant-filled reception and terrace upstairs - and the small artesanía shop next door. Our simple rooms were well-designed and attractive with very comfortable, beds with everything we needed.

Cons:

Just one thing. Breakfast is a bit too simple for our needs - although we had a good sized portion of fresh fruits, juice, a sweet bread and coffee / tea, we would have appreciated more choice - eg pastries, eggs and
toast with butter, jam etc. That would have made la Piazzetta a 10/10 for us. Even so, Leo + his team were very flexible on timing of breakfast and we were very grateful for that.

Un hospedaje con excelente ambiente familiar, un servicio personalizado y un cuidado por la experiencia local.
Esta muy bien situado, la fruta fresca en el desayuno es del jardin, y los proprietarios estan felices de compartir buenas recomendaciones para disfrutar de la ciudad.
Descansé muy bien y salí encantada con este rincon autentico. Felicidades!!
Un séjour tres agréable pour les visiteurs en quete d'authenticité et de charme.

Tolle Unterkunft in Merida
Pros:

Sehr netter Inhaber. Leo hat sich sehr bemüht, uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet.

Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker: Es gab immer frisches Obst sowie ein Croissant oder Pain au chocolat.

Leo hat uns jeden Tag über WhatsApp über die aktuellen Veranstaltungen in der Stadt informiert – das war wirklich super.

Wir hätten unseren Aufenthalt sehr gerne verlängert. 😊

Cons:

Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Beim Frühstück waren Katzen anwesend und sind teilweise auch auf die Stühle geklettert. Meiner Meinung nach haben Tiere im Essbereich nichts zu suchen. Das ist jedoch sicherlich eine subjektive Wahrnehmung und würde uns nicht davon abhalten, diese Unterkunft wieder zu buchen.

Pros:

La localisation de l'hôtel et l'ambiance. Le propriétaire et le personnel sont adorables et donnent pleins d'informations sur la villes et les différentes activités possibles.
Chambres et lits confortables et propres. Mon fils a adoré le jus de carambole, donner à manger a Bonbon le chat et la chambre.

Pros:

Hotel tres accueillant. Leo est aux petits soins pour rendre le sejour des plus sympas. La situation est parfaite pour visiter Merida qui est par ailleurs une magnifique ville.

Easily the best hotel of our 3-week Mexico road trip! The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and open without ever being pushy, and always ready for a nice chat. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was great, and they served amazing coffee and refreshing drinks throughout the day. The host helped us with his valuable feedback to plan the rest of our trip. The Hotel La Piazzetta truly has the 'feel-good' factor. Uncomplicated, relaxing, and highly recommended!
