Pros:

Nice spot in Unawatuna but, compared to some of the other places we stayed in Sri Lanka, it was expensive. Nice food. Probably a nice place to stay in Unawatuna though.

Pros:

The hotel is an oasis in amongst busy Unawantuna. Lovely staff and facilities. The room was one of deluxe rooms which was very comfortable.

Easy access to Galle fort by tuk tuk or taxi, an interesting busy road to negotiate should you wish to walk which will take 20-30 minutes.

The beach location is lovely, a safe beach to swim in.

Great food too!

Cons:

Picture of hotel might mislead you thats its set on its own.

River outlet to the left of the picture which mixes with the sea water.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage: man merkt aufgrund der Bucht gar nichts von der nahegelegenen Straße.
Gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal.
Schöne Zimmer, alle mit Meerblick.

Cons:

Einige Renovierungen notwendig und einige bereits erfolgte Renovierungen wurden offensichtlich billig durchgeführt, wie zum Beispiel die Treppe vom Erdgeschoss.

Cons:

Hotellet lever slet ikke op til pris og stjerner. Det mangler vedligehold og opdatering over alt. Alle facilitet er slidt og helt ude af trit med tiden. Det er en tidslomme fra 1998, værelser med 14 '' tv og VHS, det mest undervældende gym man kan forstille sig. Vandet er flot på billeder men er fyldt med plastikskrald da der ligger en flod som har udløb lige ved siden af. Menu kortet i restauranten lever slet ikke op til prisniveauet i Sri Lanka. Vi rejste 4 uger i Sri Lanka og kun dette sted følte vi os decideret snydt.

What I would especially like to highlight is the staff at the hotel restaurant. They were incredibly friendly and really made our stay very enjoyable—truly fantastic people. The rest of the staff were polite, but nothing especially memorable.

The hotel is located by the sea, in a private area. However, there aren’t really any places nearby to go for a walk with the family. We had to drive either to Galle or Mirissa whenever we wanted more restaurants or similar options. On the other hand, we had a rental car, so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Cons:

The rooms were clean, but I would have liked the balcony to be cleaned more thoroughly. In some places, the rooms were a bit worn, but overall it was a pleasant stay.
The breakfast could have been a bit more varied, but we managed just fine.

The location, the beach and the view is amazing. Very kind stuff, thee rooms are great, super clean and the location is also great. A few minutes away from jungle beach, and from Galle which is mindblowing.

Just the location nothing else was good. Waiters treat Indian very badly. Only importance to people from USA and other countries.

Cons:

Staff are not cooperative. No respect or importance to Indian people. Was treated badly. I am vegetarian but still they charged me heavy amount for no reason without no option for veg food

Fijn hotel, met lang zwembad aan het strand.
Pros:

De kamers met balkon aan de strandkant zijn fijn, de bedden zijn goed, het halfpension dinner is goed, en fijn dat je buiten aan het strand kunt eten! Het zwembad is lang en perfect om baantjes te trekken.

Cons:

Ik heb 2 ochtenden gedoe gehad met het zwembad personeel, ze beginnen pas rond 09.00uur met het schoonmaken, en zijn moeilijk flexibel. Het ontbijt valt erg tegen, geen vers sap, eiergerechten kunnen beter. De tweede ochtend moesten we binnen eten, de parasols wilde ze niet opzetten (het was windstil!). Kamer 105 heeft een airco die uitvalt (dit was een jaar geleden ook al het geval, zie ik in de reviews). De jacuzzi’s werken niet, de theecooker ook niet. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is echt beneden peil, en ik heb het idee (gezien de reviews)dat er te weinig wordt geluisterd en verbeterd. Heel erg jammer, want de potentie is er zeker!

A lovely boutique beach-facing stay in Unawatuna
Pros:

A lovely cute boutique hotel located close to the main Unatwatuna street, perfect for couples. The best and most comfortable bed with a good sized room, amazing view and the jacuzzi in the room was just the icing on the cake! The taste of food is something they should work on, as we ate a lot of meals here and most of the times ordered the same food but it was made differently everytime. Apart from that, no other feedback, everything was GREAT- we really cant wait to be back!

Food, breakfast spread. Spa only had a male masseuse!

Pros:

Gostei muito da simpatia de todos os funcionários, da limpeza, da comida. O quarto muito limpo, cama e almofadas muito confortáveis. Os empregados estavam sempre atentos a ver se faltava alguma coisa e eram sempre muito prestáveis. A praia está sempre a ser limpa porque aparece muito lixo, mas nunca deixaram a praia ficar suja, têm muito cuidado com isso. O hotel está cuidado e andam sempre a limpar. Adorei tudo, só tive pena de vir embora. O hotel é muito silencioso.

Cons:

Só uma sugestão: Deviam ter estendais(pequenos) nas varandas para secarmos as roupas. Têm na casa de banho mas na casa de banho não seca tão facilmente.

Pros:

Sehr schöner privater Strand. Gut für Kinder da er sehr langsam abfällt. Frühstück kein Buffet sondern man kann bestellen was man möchte.

Cons:

Das Weihnachtsmenu war nicht das Geld wert. Am besten man nimmt das Zimmer nur mit Frühstück und bestellt sich Abends was im Restaurant was man möchte.
