Spacious and convenient place for decent price.
Pros:

Room had nice view.
Hotel is ON the Beach.
Room is big/spacious.
Short drive to local sites (10 min to Galle Fort)

Cons:

Jacuzzi did not look appealing.
Wifi was weak.

Bar and restaurant prices to high
Pros:

View directly viewing the beach. Pool length enables you to swim lines. Staff was not able to make contact with the travel agency, but the manager finally helped, that was good.

Cons:

Prices. The price on the Menu excludes VAT. They claim it is regulation by the government, that's just not true. Beside that still too high prices. As a customer you feel used at the place.

A great week stay at a lovely place!
Pros:

Very nice rooms and beach front location, along with being close to Galle. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. The sea at the cove is very calm compared to other beaches nearby, so it was great for swimming/bathing. Taxis/tuk tuks were cheap due to being close to Galle and turtle beach. We’d recommend this hotel.

Cons:

We had drinks at the bar/restaurant some evenings to sit out over looking the sea, which was a great view. However, the drinks were quite expensive unless you were at the Happy hour times, and even then, the menu was a lot more limited. The staff also seemed unhappy about us eating out rather than at the hotel, but this was nothing against the hotel food, we just liked going out in the evenings.

It’s great we stayed for 7 nights and loved it.
Pros:

A beautiful location in a quiet private bay. Very peaceful. We loved the plunge pool attached to our room. It was cleaned throughout the day so always ready to dip in. Room was spacious bathroom huge, a little issue with the bathroom smell initially but was sorted quickly. Staff are brilliant and cannot do enough for you. Manager always checked in on us which was a lovely touch. Breakfast huge snd really good. We enjoyed 2 dinners and found the food excellent. Mini bar prices very good. Location good only a 5 minute tuk tuk to main strip and 10 minutes to Galle.

Had One of the most memorable stays here! Will definitely come back!
Pros:

Everything really.
- Great Location with literally a private beach
- Delicious food!
- Exceptional Hospitality
- Everything was accessible from the property (Galle Fort, ATM’s, Cafe’s etc)
- Beach was absolutely clean and beautiful with one of the best sunset views one can possibly witness.

Pros:

Emplacement, plage, piscine privée

Cons:

Aucun respect à la vie privée, le personnel passait devant notre fenêtre et terrasses au rez de jardin, et on était à aucun moment seules… 😞

Perfekter Aufenthalt
Pros:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit privatem Tauchbecken. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Besonders überzeugt hat uns auch die hervorragende Küche – das Essen war durchweg sehr lecker. Das gesamte Personal war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam.
Ein besonderes Highlight sind die beiden süßen Hotelhunde Spice und Chai, die sofort für gute Laune sorgen.

Excellent food, great room, friendly staff, and a beach just steps away
Pros:

We stayed in one of the largest rooms and it was exceptional. There was plenty of storage and enough space for two extra beds without any problem. This room also had a large wardrobe where all our suitcases fit easily. The staff were very friendly. We ate all our dinners at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent with very good quality. The beach is only a few meters from the hotel and feels almost like a private beach. Breakfast offered several options, including child-friendly choices, and the freshly baked bread was especially good.

Cons:

The pool was quite cold. Many parts of the hotel are worn and in need of renovation, and when it rains water pours into the pool because the gutters are broken. The hotel would benefit from better maintenance and renovations. Although we enjoyed our stay and would like to come back, this brings the total score down. Hopefully we will see improvements by the next time we visit.

Her vil vi tilbake !!!
Pros:

Absolutt alt var tipp topp. Rom størrelse, utsikt og renhold. Privat strand med nok solsenger. Frokosten, alle gode lunsjene på restauranten, vannmelon jouicen med mer. Fantastisk service innstilt og vennlig ansatte på hele hotellet, savner allerede alle smilene!! Hotellet ligger en kort tur med tuk tuk fra Unawatuna strand. Koselig å dra inn dit på kveldene , spise middag på strand restaurantene der. Imidlertid mye finere og roligere på Cocobay når en vil ligge på en solseng og slappe av om dagen. Galle fort er også lett tilgjengelig med tuk tuk, ca 3 km. Kjekke butikker og fine restauranter/ kafeer.

Cons:

Absolutt ingenting!!

Pros:

Nice spot in Unawatuna but, compared to some of the other places we stayed in Sri Lanka, it was expensive. Nice food. Probably a nice place to stay in Unawatuna though.

Pros:

The hotel is an oasis in amongst busy Unawantuna. Lovely staff and facilities. The room was one of deluxe rooms which was very comfortable.

Easy access to Galle fort by tuk tuk or taxi, an interesting busy road to negotiate should you wish to walk which will take 20-30 minutes.

The beach location is lovely, a safe beach to swim in.

Great food too!

Cons:

Picture of hotel might mislead you thats its set on its own.

River outlet to the left of the picture which mixes with the sea water.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage: man merkt aufgrund der Bucht gar nichts von der nahegelegenen Straße.
Gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal.
Schöne Zimmer, alle mit Meerblick.

Cons:

Einige Renovierungen notwendig und einige bereits erfolgte Renovierungen wurden offensichtlich billig durchgeführt, wie zum Beispiel die Treppe vom Erdgeschoss.
