Albergo Losone

Fantastic hotel with a great customer journey. They really put a lot of effort into creating a special world for children, with so many clever ideas and amenities. The parents are also not left wanting and the bi product of having kids properly entertained is being awarded plenty of alone time as parents. Truly special!!!!

Personal favourite is the spa area, followed closely by the 24/7 heated outdoor swimming pool. This is my second visit and I’ll see you again come 2026. Tennis courts and the driving range are easily accessible and right by the hotel. Lovely restaurants too should you wish to go somewhere outside the resort. All in all, a hidden pearl.

Amazing hotel for families. We loved everything from the real size doll house to poney riding and the great kids club! The staff was also very nice.

The staff are amazing, so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you could possibly need. We were so impressed with this hotel and all the facilities on offer :)

For the second time in a row my family enjoyed our summer holidays at Albergo Losone. And again we were able to be spoilt by the entire hotel team lead by the owner, a family member, Mr. Diego Glaus who personally met us. I strongly recommed Albergo Losone with families having the Kids Club taken care of the children late into the evening and located next to the Maggia river ideal for trips up and down the Maggia or visiting Locarno next door. Thank you to whole team at Albergo Losone!! We will be back again!!!

C’etait parfait. L’établissement est parfaitement pensé pour permettre aux parents de se reposer tout en proposant des activités aux enfants.

Les piscines sont belles, il y a spa et soins, salle de sport, terrain de tennis et golf.

La restauration est réglée au millimètre. Pas de temps d’attente, le personnel est toujours agréable et à notre service.

Le ménage est fait 3 fois par jour dans les chambres.

Je recommande.

I know this Hotel for a very long time and it is still top notch

We stayed at Albergo Losone as two adults and a baby, and had a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and paid great attention to our child, which we truly appreciated. The food was excellent. Our room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The garden and swimming pool are beautiful and very well maintained. Facilities throughout the hotel were top-notch. Highly recommended, especially for families with children.

The staff at Albergo Losone is super welcoming, patient and attentive. It’s one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had in terms of staff. The rooms are great (and huge!) beds super comfortable and the property is really amazing. There is a huge collection of different objects and hallways that any kid (or adult) would love to explore. The one small problem we had was that there was very strong scent in the front lobby and main hallway which one of us was allergic to. The staff tried to address it so be sure to ask. We were also not terribly impressed by the restaurant for dinner which was surprising because the breakfast was fabulous and everything else in the hotel was top quality.

We have chosen the hotel for the 2 nights prior a very demanding sport race (Swissman Xtreme) and it has been the perfect option.

The reception and the restaurant staff, were the first to welcome us on a rather late arrival. We had no problems to have a quick dinner just before the kitchen was closing.

The hotel is vast and in a middle of quiet oasis, that you can only relax.
The cleanness of the room is impeccable and you can for sure extend your stay comfortably from 3 to 10 nights. I believe that all rooms have the beautifully maintained internal gardens.
The food choice is excellent, rarely you can find this quality in Switzerland, especially if you have a Mediterranean dietary habits. We had some very special requirements for the night before the race, to which the kitchen & restaurant staff have offered a 5 stars service, thank you.

There is also a large Turkish bath, great place to relax as parents.

If you have kids, it is the perfect place to go for a weekend or a long stay; as parent you can stay put in one place and let them run around between the gardens, the pool and the multiple play areas.
If you have no kids, is still a an excellent place to came, just avoid the school holiday periods.
