Ein Hotel, dass den Alltag verschwinden ässt
Pros:

Ich war wiederholt im Karboom-Hotel und liebe es nach wie vor, mich hier aufzuhalten. Alles ist perfekt und die Servicekräfte einfach zauberhaft.
Ich freue mich schon sehr auf das nächste Jahr....wieder im Karboom!!!!

Prettige kamer, centraal gelegen in het centrum van Maastricht
Pros:

Schone kamer, goed en extra lang bed, super ligging tegenover het station. De gratis bar met koffie en thee in de centrale hal was fijn. Vanuit het hotel loop je zo de leuke wijk Wyck in, me kleine zaakjes en voldoende horeca.
Kamer heeft alles wat je nodig het tijdens een kort verblijft

Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, ze doen niet moeilijk als je wat spullen wilt achter laten, locatie is perfect! Grappige style van het hotel. Lief dat ze wat kleine dingetjes aanbieden bij de receptie zoals koffie/thee/water. Een beetje een mix van hostel&hotel voor mijn gevoel. Het enige is dat de raamisolatie niet heel goed is, je hoort best veel, maar ik heb heel diep geslapen na een lange wandeling dus uiteindelijk was het geen probleem die nacht :D. Gezien de prijs (wel doordeweeks, winter) helemaal👌

Goed hotel op uitstekende locatie.
Pros:

Eigenlijk alles. Het supervriendelijke personeel, de uitstekende locatie en alle koffie en faciliteiten. De kamer was ook super praktisch en vrolijk ingericht.

Prima voor een korte overnachting zonder hoge eisen.
Pros:

De locatie van het hotel is super. De kamers zijn echt simpel, maar wel schoon. Voegen in douches blijft in veel hotels een probleem. Die zijn bijna nooit fris.

Cons:

Er is heel veel geluid in het gebouw gedurende de nacht. En dat zit hem voornamelijk in harde geluiden in, ik denk leidingwerk en ook een harde ratel in het luchtsysteem. Voor mij was het daardoor heel lastig om de slaap te vatten. Daarnaast zijn de kamers best gehorig.

Prima hotel dichtbij station.
Pros:

De locatie was prima, dichtbij station en in de leuke wijk Wyck.
Ontvangst was goed en fruit lag klaar om gratis mee te nemen.
Kamer schoon en een goed bed.

Cons:

Eigenlijk niets. Ik was er maar kort en voor mij prima.

Major hygiene issues and ridiculous keycard policy
Pros:

The location is excellent. It’s very close to the city center and Maastricht station, with plenty of great shops and restaurants nearby.

Cons:

1. Only one keycard per room—no exceptions. This is incredibly inconvenient if you are traveling with someone. Everything (the lift, stairs, and common areas) requires key access, but so does the electricity in the room. You can't leave separately, and you can't stay in the room if your partner goes for a walk.

2. DO NOT ORDER BREAKFAST. They do not wash the dishes properly. I noticed the cutlery and plates were dirty and asked the hostess about it. She immediately became defensive, saying, "It's not my fault! I'm not responsible for that!" She took the dirty dishes to the kitchen, only for a colleague to bring the exact same dirty dishes back to the table 10 minutes later. I spoke to the hotel reception, but they weren't surprised and did nothing. Considering the price is €18.50 per person, this is beyond unacceptable.
