I’m rarely someone who takes the time to leave reviews, but I felt genuinely compelled to share my experience at the Tremont Hotel.

From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was exceptional. The rooms are cozy yet modern — thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The grounds are absolutely magnificent, set so beautifully among the mountains that you immediately feel a sense of calm wash over you. It’s the kind of setting that makes it easy to slow down and truly relax.

What really sets Tremont apart, though, is the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Their attention to detail and hospitality made the entire stay feel effortless and special.

If you’re looking for a truly relaxing getaway in a stunning mountain setting, I highly recommend Tremont. We’ll definitely be back.

I won’t be staying there again
Pros:

It was near our friends and close to the beautiful smoky mountains. The room was beautiful and spacious with a full kitchen

Cons:

The room happened to be upstairs and I asked them could I move to down stairs and they said that would be a problem because it was through booking.com. The worse thing was the bathroom sink was in the kitchen, so you combed your hair and brushed your teeth in the kitchen sink. I had to go buy an extension cord because there was no where close to the mirror to dry your hair. The
TV didn’t work for 2 days, they
came and set it up and it worked
for 1 night and the next morning
then it was out again. I asked how
to use the fireplace with no remote
and they said there is a button on
top. We didn’t see any buttons.
I asked them to bring 4 coffees and wash clothes. They brought 2 coffees and 1 wash clothe.

Pros:

Me and my wife enjoyed the stay. Loved the big screen movie but it was to cold to seat out their and watch. We go ever year to Townsend love the town and people very quite and relaxing. The Resort was great we will be booking again soon.

Pros:

The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. I appreciated the Keurig, but a full size coffee pot (as an option) would benefit those of us who drink several cups of coffee in the morning. Overall, it was a nice stay!

Cons:

I would have liked to have a place to plug in my computer at the desk, so I could get some work done, but there was no available outlet. Also, a little more counter space in the bathroom would have been helpful.

The closeness to cades cove. It was quite and the grounds were nice.

Cons:

The trash cans in room where extremely small. We had a large sticky spot in the floor. I cleaned it up myself. They didn't dumb the trash every day from. Room. House cleaning didn't show up one day. So we went to office to get towels around 7 something and was already closed.

Most everything, you have done a great job with this older resort and it really shows!!

Cons:

Two interactions with front desk people were not very good.

Checkin basically we got our keys and no further information. No resort layout, no info on breakfast time/location etc.
2nd interaction was a different person asked about a resort layout and she acted very “put out” and annoyed

Checkout we met Savanna Manager and she was very very pleasant. Probably some additional training for the front desk people are in order……PS we would name them but Savanna was the only person who had a name tag.
