Pros:

Absolument tout ! Le personnel est incroyable, tellement gentils et bienveillant. On était comme au sein d’une même famille ! Génial ! Et l’activité de récolte de thé est incroyable !

Sehr schöne Teeplantagen-Führung, aber definitiv kein Spa
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist grundsätzlich auch schön. Man hat einen sehr schönen Ausblick.
Das Highlight war die Teeplantagen-Führung mit der anschliessenden Zubereitung und Verkostung der eigenen gepflückten Blätter. Der Führer war sehr sympathisch und hatte sehr viel Wissen und konnte alle unsere Fragen beantworten. Das war eine sehr authentischer Einblick.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft hat undichte Stellen, wodurch Falter hineingelangen. Am Abend hatten wir Dutzende Falter im Zimmer, was nich angenehm war. Zudem riecht das Bad etwas müfflig und Möglichkeiten, um das Handtuch aufzuhängen gibt es keine.

Bezüglich der Ausstattung des Zimmers fehlen zwei weitere bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Zimmer bietet Platz für 4 Personen. Allerdings können sich nur zwei hinsetzen, um die schöne Aussicht zu geniessen.

Der Name „Spa“ im Namen ist sehr irreführend. Der Spa-Raum ist nicht besonders überzeugend. Was besonders entäuschend war und eine klare Grenzüberschreitung ist, ist, dass der Masseur nicht peofessionell ist. So wurde trotz vehemmenter mehrfacher Verneinung angeboten, auch Intimbereiche zu massieren.

Fabulous villa amongst the tea, highly recommend.
Pros:

The property was literally surrounded by a tea plantation & was calm, quiet and peaceful.
The staff went out of their way to be helpful & we enjoyed the breakfast & the 2 dinners we ordered from their menu (delivered to out outdoor terrace).

Secluded and Calm place

Cons:

It's not worth the money. If you really want to stay in nawalapitiya then only stay here or else better to stay in hatton or nuwaraeliya. much better. Also don't go on photos, this place is not near to Tea plantations. Nearest tea plantations is 5km atleast.

Beautiful cabins nestled within a nature abundant tea estate
Pros:

Tea cottage is nestled within a beautiful nature abundant tea estate. Its a family run business and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they helped us with excursions, booking drivers and the tea picking and making class with the hotelier is unmissable! We loved taking our home made tea home and sharing it with our friends. The restaurant serves delicious food and they had a great selection of iced and flavoured teas. The rooms are spacious and high end, beautifully built with huge windows looking out to nature and of course tea plants. Its a small resort and attracts couples, friends and families. We had a great time and hope to visit again.

Cons:

We had an exceptional stay and for a small business the quality was very high! If I had to raise one area for improvement the bathrooms beneath the restaurant could be better managed with soap and hand towels. Our bedrooms however had plenty of ammenities and were super clean.

Velký pokoj s velkou terasou.

Cons:

Po příjezdu zjištěna závada na vodovodní baterii pod umyvadlem, vyřešeno výměnou pokoje. Poněkud krkolomný příjezd po horské kamenité cestě.

Pros:

Loved the hospitality. Everyone was very welcoming and warm. It made a big difference that they cared. Rooms were a good size. We stayed in Serenity, and the view was really nice. We ordered dinner and it was really good. The welcome drink was amazing.

Cons:

The resort is showing age. There are some things that could definitely be updated and repaired. Small things like bathroom drains, the sink drain, some broken flood boards were a few things. We were told there's tea in the room available, but unfortunately it wasn't. It's not much of an issue, but as a tea resort, we thought they'd have a nice variety. Breakfast was okay, nothing much to love, it was decent. I know the pool has natural water, and we need to inform the staff to use it, but the pool area isn't inviting at all. That's something that can improve for sure.

Peaceful stay at Tea Cottage Resort
Pros:

We booked the Tea Cottage Resort very last minute and I'm so glad we did! We were given such a warm welcome and greeting. The room was located in such a peaceful surrounding and was absolutely gorgeous.

I want to give a specific review of the staff as they were incredible! We had some issues with our rental tuk tuk and they went above and beyond to help us out. Thank you very much!

Cons:

Property is run down. The only place in sri lanka that made us pay before we saw the rooms. It is also at a remote location, so try not to reach there late in the evening. You will be stuck there for the night. We had a two day trip and checked out the second day as it didn't suit us.
