What a personal and intimate experience! It was beautifully quiet, secluded and just steps from the airport. Even so, we NEVER HEARD any planes! Multiple rooms surrounding the pool, but it felt very private. Couldn't eat better than what Dan provided at reasonable cost with special attention! Made friends with his dogs, one of them "adopted" me and occasionally would sleep on guard outside our room while I napped in the afternoons. Miss him already! Cant wait to return!
Dan and Dan went out of their way to take great care of us! Nice property and convenient to rental cars,airport and downtown. Very quiet. Felt like a private stay.

Casita de Maya was everything I hoped for and more. I walked there from the airport and instantly felt like I had my own private villa. The space is peaceful, cozy, and personal—nothing like a big resort.
Daniel and Lalo went above and beyond. Daniel made me delicious meals whenever I wanted, they happily arranged cabs for me, and the whole vibe was so welcoming. I even met another great couple finishing their open water diver certification, and it made the stay feel like a little community.
It truly felt like a home away from home—and I already can’t wait to return.
Our flight was cancelled, so we had to rush to find a place close to the airport. There are two Daniels here, one the owner, the other the cairtaker and cook. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and cared for. This may seem like a tiny, simple place, but it is a real find. If you're looking for a place for a short stop-over, this is it! We can't recommend it highly enough.
Quiet, convenient, friendly
The absolute best place to stay! We were there a week and really didn't want to leave. The owner and staff are first rate. We had breakfast cooked for us every morning by a fantastic cook. Our rooms were clean and fresh. We won't stay anywhere else. See you in 2025.
Just across from the Cozumel airport. Dan created us when we arrived. Showed the property and helped us with our car rental next door. Daniel made us breakfast every morning. It was great. Everything was fresh. Daniel was very friendly and wonderful to talk with. The last nights he made us drinks. As good of a margarita as I have had on the island. Overall a great place.
It was owner operated and very quaint. Owner was super! Had to taxi into town. Very close to airport so heard a lit of runway noise.

This is my second stay here and I absolutely love it. The owner and his staff are amazing. They are so nice and helpful with everything. The rooms are nice and very clean. I also love the convenience of being able to walk from the airport to the property. This is my go-to place to stay when in Cozumel!

This was our first visit to Cozumel and we felt at home right away at Casa de Maya. It was very clean and had a charm not found at big resorts. We loved Chef Daniel's breakfast, which we had 5 out of 7 days we were there and a very delicious dinner made by him.

This hotel is a great value. 3 minute walk from the airport. Reasonable cab rides ($6-$20) to anywhere on the island. Room was large and very comfortable and we slept well in the king size bed. Staff does a great job taking care of its guests. Thank you Eduardo and Daniel for taking great care of us including the special anniversary dinner.
The hospitality was excellent and friendly.
Amazing little boutique hotel. Daniel, the chef, made us feel welcome the minute we arrived. He made us tasty cocktails to drink by the pool. Daniel prepared our supper and breakfast. The food was delicious.
Such a gem in a quiet area of Cozumel. It’s right next to the airport but we only heard planes a couple of times. The casita is beautiful and very comfortable. Dan made us feel very welcome and was quite accommodating. His chef Daniel was also very friendly and enjoyable to talk to - and his breakfasts are good local cuisine and reasonably priced. This place truly made our trip to Cozumel special and I would definitely stay again.
Words can’t express how amazing this property and the hospitality is! Dan was a true life saver for us as it was a last minute ordeal and we didn’t know anything about the area. The place was gorgeous and cozy, as were the beds. Beds were super comfy too! Amazing place!!

I have such terrible memory and to be honest this vacation was to just get away from everything. I do not remember the names of the amazing people that work there!! They definitely make you feel like home! I would definitely recommend this place if you travel to Cozumel!!
My mother and I stayed here for a few days on my Christmas break. Absolutely blown away by the utmost level of service. The owner Dan was incredible and extremely friendly. His staff Daniel and Eduardo were very attentive and accommodating. This was the first time we stayed outside of a resort and wouldn’t hesitate to return for our next trip. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Cozumel.
