Spend that little bit extra to stay at The Rock. It’s well worth it

Pros:

Like stepping back in time. In a good way.
Great location overlooking the port, botanical park and the straits of Gibraltar. Attentive polite staff.
The best breakfast on our road trip by far.

Cons:

Can’t think of a negative. Maybe a bit pricey compared to others. But still worth it

Lovely hotel, spectacular view and location
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful, particularly the bar and restaurant areas, with great views of the water. Our experience with staff was wonderful, very helpful. The breakfast had lots of delicious selections. An added bonus was the proximity to both the Botanical Garden and the entrance to the nature reserve.

Cons:

Nothing, all was wonderful.

Felt like we were in a high-class property that only the wealthy would visit, but was affordable.
Pros:

Every staff member we interacted with was superb!!! So kind, fun, professional! The views!!!! Can hardly take my eyes off the bay. Such a classy property.

Cons:

NOT the location for anyone with mobility issues, like me. Steep hill up the drive. Very difficult location if you want to walk to town. Also, the breakfast was very pricey. Would like to see that cut in half for what they are offering.
