Not 4star and not worth the money
Pros:

The bed and aircon very good and reception staff

Cons:

Filthy floor in room and balcony ( deluxe room)
Weeds growing on balcony and outside bar area unkept
Shower head leaked from pipe
Ants in bathroom
No robes 1 small shower gel between 2 people
Ordered drinks took half an hour to tell us they didn’t have what we wanted
Main waiter rude unhelpful was upset I asked for table cloth to eat our steak dinner
Asked for ashtray and was given a dirty bowl from the next table that was used for crisps for a previous guest
Check in absolutely no chance of having our room before 3pm no alternative offered

The room was clean and comfortable and seemed to have been recently modernised. breakfast was also good, but the view is the winner.

A wonderful stay in a majestic and historical hotel
Pros:

The junior suite was tastfully decorated with an amazing sea view
All the staff were fantastic and super friendly
The cream tea is highly recommended

Cons:

The bar closes a little early, but other than that, no complaints

Un bel emplacement, tout près du jardin botanique. Une très jolie chambre spacieuse avec une belle vue depuis le balcon. Une piscine très agréable !

It was a good option and a very nice and relaxed swimmingpool
Pros:

The swimming pool is great, and the service there. The views were great, and the area around and space on top of the reception were very nice for a meeting with friends.

Friendly staff impeded by archaic processes both front of house and in the dining room, shame

Breakfast was good, location good we have stayed in this hotel many times in the past

Cons:

We were there with 18 members of our family for the night before our wedding (5 rooms booked, 2 family room/suites) and a table for 18 in the restaurant.
Our room, as the bride and groom was the worst accommodation we have ever had there, it was very small, no terrace and didn’t even have a long mirror, very disappointing.
The check in process was archaic, your PMS must be much outdated. The check- in took circa 15 mins and required the receptionist to have to step away from customers to photocopy details. The whole process felt like something from the 60’s. As an ex hotelier your check in process is talking a good 10/12 minutes longer than it should.
