Very small bathroom
Wonderful location with sea view from bedroom.
Spacious single room, generously furnished.
One bedroom window wouldn’t shut until weather changed!
Bed was too soft. Single bed made up by tucking in a double duvet just isn’t comfortable - until I realized and untucked it, it had led to a distorted mattress! Otherwise furbished bedroom was good, but rest of property could do with freshening up.
Location was perfect, the breakfast was not the best but you can’t have everything
There was no housekeeping at all, had to ask for things, the staff were very nice and friendly

Broken bedside cabinet which I notified then the wardrobe was leaning I was frighted of it falling over think it should be screwed to the wall

Room window did not close properly. Here the wind through the gap of window. Quality of breakfast not the best. Cheap sausage
Five minutes walk from north pier, a quiet hotel, lovely bar and reception staff, loved being able to choose the same room as a previous stay no problem that made the memories all the more special thank you very much for that wonderful accommodating experience
I should’ve stayed an extra day

Nothing not to like
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Santa Maria. The hotel was lovely and clean, the room was comfortable, and the location was great.
Was abit of a walk to the centre but very close to the sea. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
We had a lovely few days in Blackpool and would definitely consider staying here again.
There wasn’t really anything we disliked about our stay. Everything was good and we had a very enjoyable visit.

The location & the bar area
Location was very good and parking spaces are available if required.
The decorative pillows were very grubby, the room smelled really damp. There were mystery stains and a hole in the wardrobe from what I assumed was where someone punched it. The staff had an awful argument when we were on our way out, they were swearing at each other.

Too many things to mention
The location was very good just a short walk to the tower and we had a sea view room. Also we managed to get a parking spot at the front of the hotel. beds and bedding was clean.
We arrived a little bit early and was told quite abruptly that the room wouldn't be ready till 3pm. When we got to our room it looked nothing like the ones advertised on booking.com. it wasn't very clean and very run down, definitely in need of some tlc. There was no hot water from the shower fortunately we had a bath and there was some warm water from that tap so managed to clean ourselves from the tap but it ran quite slow so filling the bath would have taken a long while. The stairs up to our room was dirty and in need of a good hoovering. Breakfast was nice enough but on the first morning we were asked what we wanted I said 2 full breakfasts without black pudding and tomato, it came with both these items on. There was no plates for the toast or bowls for the cereal. It just seemed very poorly run and definitely in need of more/better staff. We were only there 2 nights and we made do but had we have been there longer I would've complained. I won't be returning and wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beds were comfy, great view as sea view room. Good location.
Waited from 1.30 until 3 for check in and when we got to the room at 3.30 it hadn't been cleaned. The check in time was from 3 but the room should have been ready by that time. No shower gel in the box in the shower. Some people were overbooked for their rooms so didn't get accommodation.
