Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit sehr zuvorkommendem Personal, ohne Garantie auf Zimmer mit Flussblick.
Pros:

Lage sehr günstig zum Zentrum.

Cons:

Ich hatte um einen Flughafen-Shuttle gebeten, aber nie eine Antwort erhalten.
Wie vielerorts üblich, erhalten booking.com-Bucher das schlechteste Zimmer. Es war das einzige, das keinen Riverview hatte, sondern auf eine Seitenstraße ging. Zudem war es zwar sehr sauber gehalten, aber eben doch schon ein wenig abgewohnt. Ich kann es insofern vergleichen, als ich vor zwei Jahren da war und die ersten Nächte eines der besseren Zimmer bewohnen durfte, ehe ich, offenbar wegen "besserer Buchung" in das zweite Haus, zwei Straßen weiter, im Inneren der Halbinsel, transferiert wurde. Das Zimmer dort war zwar auch in Ordnung, hatte aber überhaupt kein Fenster.

Well situated but heritage status limits ability to provide modern facilities

Location and generous sized room. Being a heritage building it has a charm and individuality.

Cons:

The shower room was tired and fittings worn. Being a heritage building also limits the ability to offer modern facilities so it’s a compromise which limits the suitability of the building.

Pros:

Very comfortable hotel with a nice view from the balconies (at the ground floor) if we exclude the hours when the white buses of the Chinese people are parked (twice a day).
It offers an excellent breakfast and the staff is always willing to help.
