Golfview Hotel and Conference
Pros:

I stayed in 3 hotels on this trip but this one was certainly a swindle. The appearance and location of the hotel was the catch.

The 2 rooms we were given were extremely small with all dilapidated fixtures and not well maintained furniture.

The telephones in the 2 rooms booked did not work. We had to go all the way downstairs to communicate with front desk and Resturant.


Room service fee was =N=2000 in comparison with similar star hotel who charge only =N=500.

Doors were damaged, handles was rusty and brown. Tv was not smart TV.

It was a huge disappointment for money paid. Out of all 3 hotels I stayed in the country, this was by far the worse room.

I just did not like the state of the room. Door could not be locked from the inside.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful.
Food was good too.

Cons:

The towels were old and looked dirty. The bathroom was not clean, wash hand basin tap was dirty.

Overall good, reception staff fantastic and responsive via email during the booking process
Pros:

Breakfast was only for 1 person even though 2 people were booked for the room.
Then the price the the second person was excessive considering the lack of breakfast options available

Cons:

The first room I saw had a strong smell of damp and fortunately there were other rooms available otherwise I would have been extremely unhappy

Pros:

This place is dingy. Opened the refrigerator and there was rotten food there. Noise was coming from the pool very rowdy residents. Customer service and IT dept was great. Towels lost color now off white.

Food was very very good it was fire!!

Pros:

Very small room. Doesn’t match up with the amount paid. Noisy, couldn’t sleep overnight. Fumigation done when people are inside the facility.

Very Good, Excellent and Fine Hotel
Pros:

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.
The check in was smooth and quick, staff were friendly and helpful. My room was big and shower was excellent. Room service was always prompt and I am very happy with the choice of breakfast. I ordered dinner once and was not disappointed. I was able to see Tee offs from hole 6 of the Ikeja Golf course from my room balcony. The new flamboyant Ooni of Ife oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and his royal entourage which is a site to behold arriving with drums and trumpets were also staying at the hotel during my stay and any hotel that is good for the Ooni is certainly good for me.
