We reserved 4 nights on Hotel.com
At our arriving the offer the room just beside the front desk as the regular room. But it is really not the same room as the picture on the web site. We asked for another room.
They gave us a room at 2e floor. OMG as small as a closet and again, really not as the photos on the site. You can’t put two chairs beside the bed.
The owner came to us and asked 5euro more per night because of the changing while I was showing to him that is not like the website. My wife was really made about that request and we left with NO REFUND.
So be aware that the pictures on web site is not the reality for the regular room. Also it smell humidity, It is not as clean as they told and the owner is not so understanding.
We gave them the 4 nights and spent our vacation in another place more better for same price.

Good especially when travelling solo

I really loved our stay at Nar Hotel! The hotel is well maintained, and the owner, Izat, was incredibly kind and helpful—he even provided us with an umbrella on rainy days and gave great recommendations for nearby places to eat. While the room wasn’t very big and the hotel is located on a street currently under construction, these were just minor details compared to everything else. It was very clean and thoughtfully equipped with nice extras like slippers, coffee, tea, a kettle, and a small balcony—great for a smoke break if you're a smoker like my partner (just don’t expect a view).

We were genuinely happy with what we got for the price we paid. There are lots of places to eat around, and it’s very close to the main attractions in Istanbul. We definitely recommend it and would be happy to come back!

Das Zimmer besteht eigentlich nur aus einem 120 cm Doppelbett, wo man kaum zu zweit stehen kann und einer sehr kleinen Dusche.
Bett war dreckig und mit Haaren. Zimmer und Dusche roch nach Schimmel. Das Zimmer wurde nicht einmal gereinigt. Das "Hotel" wirkt eher wie ein Stundenhotel. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer heruntergekommenen, dunklen Gasse. Also nix für schwache Nerven.

This place is deceiving! Don’t let the colorful pictures online fool you as the reality is quite different! Honestly, I don’t know where did all these good reviews come from…When we arrived we realized that we got fooled. The “hotel” is located in the alley where all the construction junk was right in the middle of the road. The place doesn’t look like a hotel to begin with. When we arrived the front door was locked and nobody was there to open. Just like it was ugly on the outside it was ugly inside. The “front desk” is literally a desk under the stairwell…with all kind of junk right next to it. Cluttered and messy. There was no receptionist at the desk most of the time.
The room was specious but ugly. The radiators were hot and we found no way to turn them down. Luckily the AC worked. The ceiling was peeling marking previous water damage, the restroom was tiny and dated and moldy. The fire alarm was removed and never got replaced. The “views” were especially “spectacular” showing the neighboring building units and rusty satellite dishes. Our room faced the alley. Overall impression was like “man, can I go some place else instead..”
To give them a credit, the bedding was clean and we found no insects in the room which is always a concern. Quiet surrounding, no noisy restaurants around.
The whole building is old and dated…the stairwell was narrow and steep - good luck carrying your luggage on the top floor (no help was offered by the way).
You get what you pay for.

There was no one inside the hotel when we arrived there. It was cold and raining. Kept Ringing the door bell but no answer. Called on their telephone Nrs but no answer. Waited at least 10min in the cold and rain, and finally someone came from outside to open the door but no apologies as nothing happened to us.
Atayed there for 6 nights. Never cleaned our room, nor changed the beddings or towels and toilet never been cleaned as well during our stay. Smelly water in the toilet.

Staff are so helpful and accommodating! Truly go above and beyond. Rooms are clean. Small but perfect for what we needed. We only were here to sleep. Very grateful for this place and the service and staff. We would come back and highly recommend 💕

Perfect place for the price. Clean, safe, quiet, warm and convenient. I enjoyed my stay and do recommend. Close to food and main attractions.

Wonderful hosts made me very welcome. Terrific location. I walked to all the major sites.

I tried to contact Expedia staff to inform them that i stayed only one night from Tuesday 12 to Wednesday 13 then I booked another hotel from my pocket .because the room was so tight . So I am asking for the refund . For any you can contact the owner of the hotel . Thank you
