Waw Hotel Galataport

Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist sehr sauber und die Lage ist top, nur 2 Minuten von der Bahnhaltestelle entfernt.
Sabah und der nette Mann an der Rezeption sind die nettesten Rezeptionisten, die ich jemals kennengelernt habe. Die sind sehr hilfbereit und man fühlt sich wirklich wie zu Hause.
Das Hotel bietet die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen abholen zu lassen, und auch eine SIM-Karte zu einem sehr fairen Preis zu kaufen.

Large rooms and large bathroom. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would certainly consider staying there again on my next trip to wonderful Istanbul.

The best option if you want to stay in this side of İstanbul. The renewed Galata Port area at few steps. Galata tower a nice and short walking, Excelent ubication. Clean ando confortable rooms. The best for the price

Check in war schon ein Problem, wir müssten ne Stunde warten bis sich jemand für uns gekümmert hat. Die Bilder im Internet haben nichts mit der Realität zutun. Null hygienisch alles in der Dusche verschimmelt.
Einzig positive Standort vom Hotel. Sehr nah an Galataport.

Super hotel. Sauber und freundliche Arbeiter. Zu fuß zu Taksim und galatakulesi sehr nah. 1 min Fußweg zur Metro. Werde wiederkommen

Quarto extremamente limpo e organizado. Banheiro amplo, limpo e moderno. Disponibilizam toalhas, loção de banho e shampoo. Além disso, disponibilizam chaleira elétrica, café e chá solúveis de graça. Não possui café da manhã (restaurante fechado desde a pandemia), mas conta com excelentes opções nas proximidades. Só a TV que não estava sintonizando os canais, mas não era um problema, já que não entendo nada em tuco (risos). O atendimento certamente foi um diferencial! Os recepcionistas são extremamente atenciosos e cuidadosos com cada detalhe da sua experiência, sempre com dicas precisas, para que a viajem seja satisfatória. A localização é estratégica e próximo de tudo! Recomendo fortemente para quem deseja ficar próximo às atrações turísticas, como a Torre Galata, o Galataport e as mesquitas. Fica próximo também da Praça Taksim e suas ruas bem movimentadas.

Great option for the price and location. Room was big compared to those of other 3-star hotels and it was clean. Host was very attentive. It was a little noisy.

Trivago üzerinden Yapmış olduğumuz ve ödemesini yaptığımız otele gitigimizde hotels com la anlaşmalarının olmadığını ve kabul etmeyeceklerini söyleyip bizi otele kabul etmediler ve dolandirildigimizi söylediler otelde bulunan resepsiyon a bakan arkadaşın otel müdürü dediği ve bizi telefonda görüştüğü kişi nişanlımla beraber buyuk bir hayal kırıklığına girdik gece saat 01:00 civarları trivago gibi kurumsal bir firmanın nasil boyle bir hata yapacağına anlam veremedik gece boyunca Türkçe yardım alamadık ve yakında bir otele gittik ordada malesef yer bulamadık ve resepsiyondaki arkadas bize yardımcı oldu ve gece boyunca yaklaşık 1-2 saat hotels yurt dişi cagri merkeziyle görüştük ve malesef yer olmadığını bölgedeki otellerin tamamen dolu olduğunu söylediler ve bölgeye cok uzak Ümraniye'den yer verebileceklerini söylediler oysaki bölgedeki bir cok otelde yer görünüyordu sonra 500 tl ye kadar bir otelde kalabileceğimizi ve ödemenin karşılanacağını söylediler gece saat 03:00 olmustu ve disarda kalmıştık ve kac gündür görüşmemize rağmen bir sonuca ulaşılmadı henuz net bir sonuç donus yapılmadı telafi edilmedi sorunumuz sadece para iademiz yapıldı anlam veremiyorum uluslar arası boyle bir şirketin ilgisizliğine boyle bir olay yurt dışında olsaydi acaba ne olurdu herhalde yoneticiler bununla ilgili ciddiyetin farkındadırlar ..,,

We, an "old couple" stayed here for several days for a combined sightseeing/family reunification, so our primary goals were relatively close vicinity to the main attractions like Haja Sofia, easy access to the public transport and a reasonable price. Upon check-in, initially booked "economy room" was generously upgraded to the "superior" one. Same was offered to our son who booked separately. At all times of stay the hotel personnel continuously demonstrated hospitality and proficiency. This is especially true about both receptionist named Irfan and Jusuf and also a lady who served breakfast. Room kept neat and towels were changed daily. So our best expectations came true: we had really good time in Istanbul!
