Konumu çok iyi, çok merkezi. Metro istasyonuna çok yakın olduğu için havalimanından çok rahat ulaşım sağladım. Odalar temizdi. Oda servisiyle odaya yemek söyledim, gayet lezzetliydi ve fiyatı da istanbula göre uygundu.

What I liked most about the hotel was its location. It is situated in a very nice area, right next to three shopping malls, which makes it extremely convenient for taking care of things you usually don’t have time for. On the other hand, reaching the city center can be quite difficult, especially during peak hours after 5 p.m., when it can take almost an hour or more. However, this was not an issue for me, as I was in Istanbul for medical check-ups at Medipol hospitals – one on the European side and another on the Asian side – and the hotel’s location was ideal for easy access to both. I believe it is also very suitable for business travelers, while guests who wish to explore the city can easily use the metro, which is located just across the street from the hotel. The neighborhood itself is pleasant, quiet, and very nice.
When making the reservation, I indicated that the room would be used by one adult and selected a room with breakfast included. A few days later, I found out that my mother would be traveling with me. In the Manage Booking section, there was no option to add another guest under the number of guests, so I entered the names of both guests who would be staying in the room, separated by a comma. This was done two weeks prior to arrival. It is important to note that the price of the room is exactly the same for one or two people, as well as the price of breakfast for a double room; the only price difference is between rooms with or without breakfast.
Upon arrival at the reception around 1:30 a.m., we were met with a very unpleasant attitude, being told that the reservation was for one person while two of us had arrived, as if this was an issue, even though it was a double room that I paid relatively expensively for Istanbul standards. My mother was not included in the breakfast, and I had to pay for her breakfast separately every morning, despite having booked a double room with breakfast. The explanation given was that the hotel had ignored the listed guest names because they interpreted them as one extended first and last name of a single person, even though the names were clearly separated by a comma. This was quite shocking to me, as I have been using Booking for over 20 years and have never experienced anything like this.
An additional unpleasant situation occurred one morning at breakfast when there was no staff at the entrance, and then a staff member ran after us through the breakfast area and demanded payment for one breakfast in front of all the guests. We felt embarrassed and uncomfortable, which significantly affected the overall experience of our stay.
As for the breakfast itself, it is extremely basic for a five-star hotel. I have stayed in Istanbul several times this year in different areas and have never encountered such a limited breakfast selection.
Delta Marriott is a very comfortable hotel with a great location. The breakfast is varied and delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and cozy. 100% recommended
