Das Hotel war eine echte Entdeckung. Eine Oase in dieser hektischen Grossstadt.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war mit sehr viel Aufmerksamkeit zubereitet. Es gab viele frische türkische Speisen. Sogar auch eine Auwahl mit selbst zubereiteten glutenfreien Gerichten.

Pros:

Staff were fantastic and the free 'extras' (free-floating water, hot drinks, home-made biscuits, Istanbul cards you could top up and use) were generous and really added a sense of luxury. Spotless and cosy rooms, excellent location and delicious, fresh breakfast (with variety every day). Staff welcoming and patient with families.

Cons:

Not the hotel's fault, but to really avoid noise at night, you had to close windows, which made the rooms too hot/stuff even in early spring. I didn't go to the hammam next door as it was a bit too pricey (even with hotel discount) and felt more like a spa, which wasn't what I was looking for. If the discount had been greater/price lower, I would definitely have used it given the convenient location.

Το πρωινό εξαιρετικό με ζεστές και εξυπηρετικές πάντα κυρίες, όπως και οι κύριοι στη ρεσεψιόν, πρόκειται για κατάλυμα υπόδειγμα σε μια πολύ όμορφη γειτονιά. Υπέροχη και λειτουργική διακόσμηση.

The friendliest and most beautiful hotel and cosy Building 2 accommodation that we have ever been in! We stayed in a Building 2 apartment which was impeccably laid out with cold water already in the fridge; the place was aired and had all the appliances neatly arranged in the small kitchen area. It had a beautiful French design feel, probably going back to its historical roots. The staff were naturally friendly and helpful and enjoying each part of the hotel functions. And we had the breakfast with the most delicious scrambled eggs! The best run hotel we have ever been in and we have had decades of travel behind us.
