Fantastic bar excellence food breakfast was amazing the bedrooms let it down
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing great bar but the bedrooms let it down so old fashioned and very small

Cons:

Bedrooms need upgrading very small and windows very very dirty as there was scaffolding up

We had a lovely time away it is the 3rd time we have stayed here and never been disappointed
Pros:

Although the room was not very big it was adequate and very comfortable. The facilities were good but don't like showers in the bath prefer stand alone however we coped. Cleanliness very good , bed comfortable, and we enjoyed coffee and biscuits which were available

Cons:

Sorry not keen on the menu perhaps a little more adventurous would be good and also a nice salad.

Comfortable hotel in lovely market town
Pros:

Centrally located, large comfortable room with a modern bathroom. Beautifully decorated room with quality curtains and fittings. Very good breakfast with lots of choice and friendly service. Our bikes were stored in a secure garage overnight

Cons:

There was some mould around the bath/shower. The two steps up to the bathroom might present difficulties for some, especially in the night.

Pros:

Great location with on site parking. Good food, comfortable bed in a large room.

Cons:

We liked the food except I had soup for dinner one night and it was not great. But I survived 😊

Beautiful hotel and room in a lovely Yorkshire market town
Pros:

Lovely hotel in the centre of Thirsk. Room 4 overlooks the market square and has a beautiful 4 poster bed.

Cons:

Signage to the restaurant, we saw so many people wandering looking and walking around.
