Bondi is expensive to stay. This was a more reasonable option to have a private room. Stay here Sun - Thurs. avoid Fri S
Pros:

Location views from the balcony are awesome. Staff was very helpful and gave us great advice on time to leave for the airport and held our bags as we were early arrivals.

Cons:

Location = noise. They provide ear plugs because if you are facing the beach for the views, you are basically sleeping on the street. Noise from traffic walk signals, sirens, people, cars etc all night long.

Queen bed was on the small queen size and the frame was inadequate. Every small move of one person makes the bed bounce. Investing a solid wooden frame would help.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bondi. We staying in the family room on level 1 which was quite noisy at night but otherwise we had a great stay.

Enjoyable stay . Location excellent
Pros:

Hotel in excellent location . Bondi Beach just across the road . Close to shops and bars .
Room was clean and great shower pressure .
Food and alcohol prices at hotel were very reasonable .

Cons:

The room was very small and very noisy at night attested to by the complimentary ear plugs provided
It could do with a couple of bag stands for luggage
