Best part of Aerostay is the Location. You can't get closer to the Sioux Falls airport.
Pros:

Location. The hotel is attached to the Sioux Falls Airport (FSD) at the opposite end of the building from baggage claim. There is nowhere more convenient to the airport than Aerostay, especially since our flight from Spokane, WA arrived very late. We just grabbed our luggage and walked down the hallway to the hotel. In the morning, we checked out, walked back down the hallway and picked up our rental car. There is a comfy waiting area with a TV, coffee and books for folks who want to get out of their rooms for a bit. Breakfast is grab and go, but there is a pretty good variety and it is available VERY early, which is convenient if you have an early flight, such as we had for our 2nd stay.

Cons:

Each of the staff was helpful, but not overly welcoming. During our two stays at AeroStay (each end of our trip), we saw four different staff members. Each time we spoke with them (check in and check out), I felt like it was an inconvenience. The rooms are VERY small, so it is perfect for folks just staying after a late arrival or leaving early the next morning for a flight. The hotel is being renovated, so it smells like paint on all the floors. The morning after we arrived, we got our of our room just after 9 am and the grab and go breakfast was already put away. We weren't even given an option for anything (not even to purchase).

Evening staff at check-in were super friendly morning staff not real friendly.

Will certainly stay there when needed for early flight out of Sioux Falls

I would not recommend this hotel given the lack of functioning elevator and noise.
Pros:

Convenient location being right on the airport so that one can walk to the ticket counter and gates.

Cons:

The elevators were inoperative and they placed us on the top floor. We had to climb 4 flights of stairs with our luggage to reach our room. We are senior citizens and there was no one available to help us out. When I complained, the desk clerk said she would see about reducing our rate. When we came back from dinner, she offered to move us to a lower floor, which would have meant for us to pack everything up and again haul our bags down the stairs by ourselves. So we declined and just stayed in our original room. When checking out, they didn't give us any sort of discount for the inconvenience. Also, at 3:30am, a loud machine started up right outside the hotel below our room. The sound was deafening and lasted for an hour. At 4:45am, the alarm clock went off, even though we never set it.
