Pros:

We found the overall experience was great especially the friendly efficient staff. I had accidently left some jewellery in my drawer and received a message advising me same the next day. - after we had left the country. We returned 3 weeks later to collect the items which had been kept safely. The staff are so polite, friendly and honest. I'm very grateful to have had a good outcome... Jill

Cons:

Just a must smell, but it is an old but beautiful historic building.

Charmingly rustic and luxurious
Pros:

Accessible and great location for the price - carpeted flooring in the room is what I like most. Good shower and huge room - the best room I had in Sri Lanka. So close to restaurants especially Ministry of crabs.
Overall, very good

Cons:

When we stayed - no vanity kits on the room. Just basic shower gel and wash.
Also place is near the restos and pub so music can still be heard in the room

I used to come to this property back in 2020 that time it was soo clean and the food was amazing but now the room floor carpets looks so dirty and food quality have been decreased

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant with a happy hour from five to seven.

Cons:

Strangely they play lift-type muzak in the corridors and open floor areas all night long. This makes no sense whatsoever because it seeps into the rooms and makes sleep difficult.

コロンボフォート駅からも近く、ロケーションがとにかく良かった、お部屋も広くて全体的に落ち着いていてゆっくり滞在できました。

バスタブがあればなお最高。

Good hotel with some quirks
Pros:

Well located hotel, close many restaurants.
Rooms are big and clean.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet was not always available because of low occupancy.
A/C unit can be noisy.
Rooms facing the street are extremely noisy on weekends.
Weird laundry rules, you need to prepay your laundry or you don't get it back...
