Ideale Lage im District Colombo 1
Pros:

Das Steuart hat große, äußerst saubere und gepflegte Zimmer. Die Lage ist ideal für alle, die nahe des Bahnhofs Colombo Ford und der Gale Road ein gutes Hotel suchen!

Great hotel
Pros:

Stayed here before and had a good stay,this time was good but our room had no window (room 23),I know we could have asked to change but we were very tired and only there for 3 nights.The hotel is well equipped with clean comfy beds modern showers with hot water,the rooms are large with good air con,the tv had many channels and the wi fi was very good.We had breakfast in the hotel with two set menu options… western style or Sri Lankan.The hotel bar area gets quite busy in the evening a lot of local people have food and socialise there which makes for a good atmosphere.The back courtyard is nice for sitting outside for drinks and in the afternoon gets the sun.All the staff are extremely happy to help nothing is too much trouble.The location is spot on for walking to local places of interest,but a tuk tuk is never far away.

Three Nights in Colombo
Pros:

Excellent location, very easy access to all points of interest in Colombo. Sea front and Dutch Old Hospital walking distance. Staff at the hotel , very helpful, polite and welcoming. Shamila, the receptionist was very helpful when asked for advice about local services etc. The bar is first class with lots of activities in the evening, quiz night, singer, which were very good.

Cons:

The room did NOT have a window, we would have preferred a room with a window..

eigentlich hat nichts an diesem Hotel gefallen.

Cons:

Das gebuchte Zimmer (es gibt tatsächlich sieben Zimmer in dem Hotel) hatte kein Fenster !!!

Bei genauem betrachten der Bilder fällt auf, kein Fenster zu sehen (?).

Mogelpackung Endpreis: bei booking wird ein viel niedriger Preis angezeigt. Bei der Buchung "schnellt" der Endpreis nach oben - ohne dass die Buchung/Bezahlung gestoppt werden kann !!!

Finger weg von diesem Hotel.

Auf Grund mangelhafter Sauberkeit bekamen wir ein sehr schönes, großes, sauberes Zimmer mit Fenster. Das "Ende" war dennoch nicht gut.

Frühstück lala - Preis und Leistung passen nicht. Bewertung nach 16 Tagen reisen durch Sri Lanka.

Affordable and comfortable hotel close to Galle Face
Pros:

Excellent location within easy walking distance of Galle Face and 10 to 15 minutes short walk to the main railway station. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Just outside there are restaurants and pubs. The staff are friendly and helpful. A pleasant stay.

There was a bit of a drains smell from the bathroom, but it is an old building. Some rooms don't have external windows.

Great location in the heart of Colobmo
Pros:

Excellent location, large comfy rooms and great shower. The old Scottish deco and the atmosphere.
Special thanks to Saman from the concierge. And Ruhan for their exceptional customer service.

Cons:

Overall, the staff can be a bit more kind and friendly. There were few who were fantastic, but others could learn. The welcome i got when i first arrived felt like i was not needed there. A stark contrast to my stay at tge Marino beach hotel check in experience, where I felt i was wanted.
