Grand HAP Hotel

Rented a family room for 4 days that basically a giant queen size bed and a single. The hotel looks old by comparison to new places popping up in the city but room price is excellent and the staff are very accomodating. The only snag is breakfast quality that can be improve significantly since it's the most important meal of the day. Also there's inconsistency in comfort, the pillows on our bed is harder than our children ones. Not the best sleep quality overall hence the 3 stars

Recommended if you are staying long in the city and needing to keep the budget in check

This hotel is good enough. We came as a family group. They give us connecting room. The room is clean and comfortable. They give us twin room. The bed is big enough so 2 adult and 1 child is fit. Breakfast is good also. This hotel near kampong batik laweyan. We can shop batik around this hotel.

First and foremost is their strategic location at the main road in thr middle of Solo.

They have family room, consists of 3 bed each, makes it perfect for family.

Amenities are complete and shower water is strong pressure.

However the bed and pillow are a bit damp, causing body ache when we woke up.

No swimming pool, but the price is relative economical. Making it perfect for a transit hotel during long trips.

Breakfast are various and quite satisfying.

if you stayed on weekend every sunday morning in front of the hotel was a live market provide by local community,,alot of traditional and local food,snsck and beverages was sell., this hotel is recomenced for young family traveller

We stay in this hotel in day 2 Hari Raya Eid Mubarak. The hotel was crowded due to domestic tourist vacation. Check in was quick and they ask for cash deposit (not big but bring cash). The hotel design was ethnic and filled with Central Java atmosphere. They provide free welcome drink at the lobby (infused water) for the guest.

Parking can be a problem in this hotel but they provide all day valet service. They will managed to keep your car safe and ready anytime you need it.

The room itself is old and so is the appliances. This hotel doesn't have swimming pool.

Accross the street there's a convenient store for guest to shop and restaurant to have lunch or dinner. Also a walk to right there's Solo Grand Mal that has more choice to look.

Breakfast was an OK. The plus side is they provide Indonesian Central Java's special like Serabi Solo and other sweets and also...Jamu beverage.

this hotel is located in main street of solo -surakarta-, the price is cheap enough , the facilities is standard like the other hotel, but the breakfast is vary. When you stay in sunday, the street in front of the hotels is closed it used for the place for attraction, hawker etc, only allowed for people ride bicycle and walk

Ruang breakfast sangat kecil, terutama waktu saya menginap bertabrakan dg agenda meeting salah satu perusahaan yang menginap 1 hotel juga. Saya turun jam 8 pagi, dan saya terpaksa harus kembali ke kamar tidur karena semua kursi terisi penuh oleh tamu hotel.
Salah satu staff wanita di ruang breakfast yang berkacamata, terus saja memgambil piring2 di meja tanpa bertanya terlebih dahulu apakah sudah selesai atau belum. Permisi hanya pertama, setelah itu terus ambil piring2 di meja dengan tidak ada etika.

I think the hotel consist of 2 parts, the old one and the new one. my room was in the old part of the hotel, and the room is typical of old school room. Even though I am not lucky enough to stay in the new building, the room is clean and nice. But there is no hot water to shower. The staffs are friendly. Dont worry about parking space too! there's a lot of parking space here.

I stayed there with my family after searching at hotel with family room. Glad I found this hotel.
The hotel is affordable and clean. Close to anywhere and there is big mall just 5 minutes walk. The best is the food which is so yummy. Highly recommended when come back to Solo

Clean hotel, comfort for family, worth for the values & service. Good food and very friendly staff. Easy to find this hotel because of its position at main street of Solo, near 3 big mall in Solo. Finnaly its a cozy place.

- Location is at the center of the city, easy acces to taxi and GO-JEK
- The room is small minimalist
- The bathroom is clean and tidy
- Breakfast Menu is standard but the food taste is amazing
- there is also massage and spa service (excluded) and quite cheap
- If you get hungry at middle at the night, there are alot of food stall near the hotel, as walking distance

I stayed for two days in this hotel. I try to find a cheap hotel but provide bathtub also provide spa and pool plus free airport pick up. Trust me this hotel the have that all privilage.

The staf is nice checkin proccess and checkout also fast. The lady staf is preety so javanese even the housekeeping i still remember the face 😀 the man staf also look good.

I need bathtub to ease exhausted so i pick executive room. My first impresion this room might be the most worthed room i ever paid. Quite big include space for living room. Event in the center of city the room still quite.

The breakfast is simple but the restaurant quite classy and the food is otentic. The room service also fast and cheap again the taste to javanese otentic.

Spa is the one you should try its traditional massage but very comfortable the teraphis not only massage they also asked us to chit chat so the proses will not boring while the times through i didnt realized fall a sleep so comfort trust me.

Onemore thing that is plus in every hotel i always buy additional water drink. You dont have to in this hotel they provide galon water so you can refill when you runs out. Its cheap cost but high value because you dont always get in many hotel i appreciate that.

It changed the name into Grand HAP. We stayed at Family Room with nice view of Solo's neighborhood at the fifth floor. Every thing was flawless to us. Room was clean but not that big so the space to do Shalat is quite cramped. Nice 3 single beds (my daughters 11 n 7 y.o can sleep comfortably in one bed), good internet connection, shower with good water pressure n hot/cold water worked just fine. Good room service, we ordered fried noodles n Javanese fried rice were delicious. Good breakfast with good variety of dishes. Only the gorengan perhaps must be reheated so it won't went soggy. Even though there is no in-room fridge but i could keep my frozen cassava at the hotel's freezer for free. Nice n friendly staff as well. I'll be back to Grand HAP no doubt, I hope they always maintain the good service n its facilities well, and its affordable room rates.

I don't really know about the price because i went there with my big family. The facilities is good. I love the breakfast buffet that has a lot of food. There's jamu traditional as welcome drink near receptionist that makes you fresh. Walking along the road near this hotel also becoma a great experiences. Wifi hotspot and the tv cabel also good there.

I Travel with 2 grown up kids sometimes very difficult to search room with triple bed. Dwangsa have it! With great price too. So we all can sleep well in one room. The room have shower bathroom, welcome drink, ac, cable TV, free wifi and breakfast for 3. How exciting. This hotel located in the heart of the city so you can easily find shopping center mall, church, place to eat.

Clean, good breakfast, nice for the weekend, location be passed "car free day" in sunday morning, is located on the main road in the city center, close to anywhere in the city....
This hotel developed a new building to add rooms. Try to book a room in the new building to get a new room type that clean and relief.

Located at main road ( a.k.a. jalan protocol ), in heart of this city. There were 2 parking lot area located in front of this hotel with 10 ~ 12 units only and the rest of it in the back of the hotel building ( you can called it basement ) which you have to let your car key stays on parking lot officer.

No pool, no garden view. only city view around the building hotel.

2nd new building of this hotel mentioned until 9th floor which 1st building I assumed as the old one. Interconnecting between this 2 building is not properly built. I believed the management has their own reason to keep the old building still stays.

Careful when you stay on sunday as this main road will only open start from 9 AM. Morning season there's CFD (Car Free Day).
Also watch out for city train as you out from the hotel.

Superior room has twin bed but for family room has triple bed. it connecting with breakfast passed card. family room will get 3 persons for breakfast.
Please prepare for your need of tissue paper, as this hotel did not provide it on every room they have.

For twin beds each size has 1.10m so it's more comfort than 1m size, but the pillow feel hard.

as part of facilities, wifi speed < 1MBps, so it is not too comfort to use for business purposes and/or gamer for families with children.

The hotel is located in between the train station and the city centre....Easy access with the rickshaws waiting outside. Room is big as I stayed in the family room. All in all a good hotel for fellow traveler like myself

We like stay in D`Wangsa HAP Hotel because the hovel have Good breakfast , have traditional drink and the hotel have good locations in central town...... and if we need souvenir, we can buy in the hotel boutique.
