Since 1937 the Historic Gatlinburg Inn has been one of the most iconic landmarks and hotels in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Located on the Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg, steps from attractions, shopping and dining and minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 70 rooms, newly renovated, with complimentary full hot breakfast and Wi-Fi. Very nice stay, enjoyed it all. Would do it again.
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing! Full breakfast every morning. Location was excellent, we walked everywhere.

Cons:

Room was OK. I'm not sure how I got the view of the stairs from our balcony. Just not was I was expecting when the last visit I had a decent view of the parking lot. Room 105 was convenient for sure, but a complete block of your view of the front street. But there was plenty of seating on the porch so we enjoyed sitting there.

The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was delicious.
Pros:

It was convenient being downtown so we could walk everywhere. The breakfast was phenomenal and we liked the rocking chairs out front. Very cozy

Cons:

The room wasn’t entirely clean, and smelled like chew tobacco. The bathroom had no ventilation

Pros:

Everything. It always feels like home every time we stay there. Staff is always great, there is always fresh baked cookies in the lobby where the microwave is. They also have a nice little piece of cake to give you when you check out, appears to be fresh baked as well, not store bought. Shower os always awesome.

Cons:

No microwave or fridge in our room but we knew that when the room was booked.

Eh. For every good there is 2 complaints.
Pros:

The location was amazing. In the middle of it all! Did not have to go to a lot and pay for parking.

Cons:

Decor was very dated. Carpet had transition humps everywhere. Bed was very uncomfortable, and dated wood paneling in the room. Bathrooms have been updated but the shower width was so small you had to turn sideways to wash your hair. Water pressure continually changes during shower. Exposed pipes for sprinkler system. Not enough plug ins for everything.

Cons:

This year our room was less than clean. We’re actually looking to stay somewhere else next year. First, our sink was stopped up. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk, my reply was “There are several sinks that don’t drain, maybe the maintenance hasn’t gone home for the day.” There was black mold on the shower wall and dried urine on the bottom of the toilet. We’ve stayed here for many years, but it seems to be run by different people now. It seems like the standards are not as high.

si quieres buena ubicacion este es el hotel si no te molesta el olor a antiguo

lo mas q me gusto fue la ubicacion es perfecta estacionas y todo caminando.

Cons:

No me gusto el olor a "viejo" o como humedad , cortinas y alfombras q llevan mas de 50 años alli y no las renuevan se me hizo dificil dormir , pense q no podia respirar.

Pros:

The location was perfect and breakfast was amazing each morning.

Cons:

I am a light sleeper so the noise outside and in the hall/other rooms kept me awake more than I thought it would. But would return again and just bring something to help with that!

Amazing historic and very clean hotel
Pros:

Great location and extremely nice and helpful staff easily the best people we’ve ever dealt with at a hotel also very nice having a gated parking lot so you actually have plenty of spaces
