The location was convenient.

Cons:

The room was small, dated. Balcony had standing water, peeling paint. Room floor was slanted. Blankets in bed were slippery and very thin. Staff were not informative about parking or breakfast.

They were rude and accused me of lying, even though I showed them proof in my reservation.

Walk to town was easy.

Cons:

I booked a room with late check out. The staff at the front desk would not honor it. I showed them my booking, proving I booked with late check-out till 1:00pm. They still would not honor it, telling me to contact booking.com. They were rude about it, even after I showed them the proof of my booking. I spent the first day of my vacation getting it cleared up with booking.com and a nice staff person at the hotel named David around 11:00pm. Even though I did all of this to clear it up, the front desk staff called me the day of check out (around 11:30am) telling me I was late for check out and we needed to leave. They were again rude and basically accused me of lying, stating “Nobody told us” about the situation. I told them to speak to David. When we left the hotel, there was no apology, no thank you for staying with us, nothing. They just handed us our receipt and said, here is your receipt.
