El Nido Bayview Resort

The staff is very friendly and offering great service during our stay! And the view of this hotel is truly breathtaking! We had our breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant with the awesome El Nido Bayview everyday.

Overrated

I stayed at the El Nido Bayview Resort for two nights on a family trip. The view from the pool is amazing and watching the sunset was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, that was the best part of our time there. The room we stayed in had a forest view which was spoiled by a large orange construction crane. The "window" in the bathroom was a piece of wood with tissue stuck around the edges. We placed a bath towel at the bottom of the room door to block the 1" gap in hopes of keeping geckos and large bugs from coming into the room. The room was never cleaned even though we hung the "please make up room" sign on the door. The dinner buffet was unacceptable as the food was room temperature, and the food warmers were not on. The manager was apologetic stating fresh food would be available in 15 minutes, but only a few items were warmed by then. My husband did not eat anything from the buffet, as he was unsure if any of the food was safe to eat. The breakfast buffet the next morning was not much better as many of the dishes were barely warm and the made-to-order omelet station only offered peppers, onions and cheese as options. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

This hotel is below poor and we had many issues during our stay.
There is ongoing construction grind the hotel, ruining the garden views, and a new road being laid directly outside.
The advert suggests this hotel has direct beach access, it certainly does NOT! It is a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach.
We had ants burrowing through the wooden floorboards of our room, each morning we would wake up with new mounds of sawdust on the floor.
The patio door didn’t lock, despite raising this with maintenance it was never fixed.
The service is incredibly slow, some days you could wait up to 20 minutes for your order to be taken (we were one of 3 or 4 groups/couples staying). The evening menu is only half available, meaning a majority of the main dishes weren’t available. We found ourselves eating out most evenings as a result of this.
Upon check out, the hotel told us we must pay in cash, despite there being a card machine at the desk and having a sign saying they accept card. As we didn’t have any cash, they told us to go to the nearest ATM and withdraw (this was at 0630 in the morning)

I would certainly not stay here again.

Upon arrival this hotel is quite beau with an amazing view. Decent choices for breakfast and a nice pool with pool bar and music. Saying all that. I also used the laundry service twice and had two missing shorts. One swimteunk and one Jordan’s workout shorts. Also their room service menu doesn’t have all the items listed to order and the waiter had to. One 3 times to get another order. Felt bad for the waiter.

Our stay at El Nido Bayview Resort was phenomenal. The service from the staff was incredible and made our stay truly memorable. We felt right at home and we will definitely return some day.

My overall experience of the stay was amazing. I love the layout of the pool and the dining area. Complimentary breakfast is very good. The staff is very friendly and wants to converse with you. Great choices for happy hour drinks. There are some minor cleanliness issues that would take this place from a 8.5 to a 10/10. There were some stains on the walls from a leaking AC in my room. I cannot say enough good things about this resort! We stayed here for 3 nights and it’s GORGEOUS! The pictures don’t do it justice. Vanilla beach (our favorite beach) was walking distance which made our life easy. The staff were what really made our stay exceptional! They were kind, attentive, and so so welcoming. When we come back to el nido we will definitely stay here again. It is WELL worth the money!

We had an amazing stay at the Bayview Resort, the room was comfortable, staff were attentive and the location and view is outstanding. The food was also delicious, better than most of the resort foods we've eaten in the Philippines. There was construction works going on, but we were advised of this before we booked and it had no influence on our stay. We wished we could have stayed longer, and would recommend this place to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Service was outstanding, continuously checking on us ready to help in anyway (Erica, Kendra, Madam Wee), always smiling. ALL the staff were great. The views are breathtaking. Thank you so so much for making our experience a once in a lifetime one

Don't check in here the place is over rated and over priced. We had a very awful experience! The room where we stayed are priced at 15,000 cause it is supposed to have a bay view but instead “tall grass” ang view. We had an emergency and hindi kami inasikaso ng staff they dont have an emergency facility in place. Para lang kayong nasa motel paying 15k/ night kasi nasa el nido kayo!

I usually don’t leave a review but this stay was the best one that we had so far in the Philippines. We were taken care of from the moment that we checked in. Friendly and very accommodating staff, good food and breath taking views. Will come back here again.

A place you should experience. Great value for the price! Note that should spend a few extra dollars to fly into the air swift airport near the resort otherwise it's a 5hr shuttle or taxi to the property.

The property sits on a hill, which there is steep steps to go down or come up. Overall service was good and maintained excellent!!
