Suite spacieuse, personnel à l’écoute et bonne situation géographique. Excellent séjour, je me réjouis de pouvoir retourner au Hapimag à Édimbourg ! La petite « supérette » se trouvant à l’intérieur même de l’hôtel est également très appréciable.
L’ascenseur ne fonctionnait pas mais le personnel a monté les valises à l’étage dans la suite sans problème.
It is very nice and quiet, but very beautiful.
We had an email before arriving saying that the lift was out of action, and that help would be provided getting luggage to the suite. Not only did we get no help up the two flights of stairs with our luggage, the receptionist waited until I had moved my car from the front of the resort to the carpark behind to give me a parking permit, meaning that I had to go down and back up another two flights of stairs unnecessarily. On checkout, again no help was available taking our bags to the car, the route to which was blocked twice by workmen on ladders, including the exit to the car park. Why you would schedule work there at check out time I have no idea. After this, the bill was £30 more than expected for parking. I have stayed here twice previously and have never been charged for parking. I raised this and the issues caused by the lifts not working, and was told that they couldn't remove it as it is a city tax, which isn't true. The suites are lovely, but the service was poor on this visit, and lying to customers really isn't good practice imo.

Gli autobus passano esclusivamente in centro, quindi sempre a 10 minuti dall'hotel.

Para comprar productos del mini bar que tenían tenías que pagar todo lo que cogías al final de tu estancia pero nosotros nos íbamos a las 4 de la mañana y no podíamos coger nada de último momento, porque no había nadie hasta las 8 pero si compras algo con tiempo no es un problema.
Being comfortable warm in a lovely setting

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and easy to walk into the city centre. The old styling of the place was very charming and warm. The car park around the back of the property is charged at £15 per night and for that we were able to arrive early and leave the car parked there for the rest of the day after we checked out which (in comparison to other car parks in the centre of Edinburgh) made it great value. It was a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
The only water cooler was in a key-card locked room on the ground floor by reception. This wasn’t too much of a hassle but more throughout the building might be nice.
