A wonderful stay in Ahangama
Pros:

The property was gorgeous and was way nicer than the pictures let on. The staff were amazing and we especially liked the complementary oceanside. The property is right on kabalana beach which has tons of surf schools for lessons and is a short walk or tuk tuk to the main town.

A high quality boutique hotel, a relaxing stay and would go back in a heartbeat!
Pros:

The fabulous location right on the beach, the quality of the breakfast, especially the fruit platters, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Special mention to the ladies in the spa, because the massages we had were first class. Reliable WiFi too. There were also a number of places a Tuk Tuk ride away for eating out if you wanted to.

Cons:

We thought that the wine selection was overpriced, even given that it’s imported.

Pros:

Mosvold is absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, clean and wonderfully decorated. The views from the rooms are also spectacular. However, it is the staff and the location which make Mosvold special.
The staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and taken care of, always happy to help with a smile on their face.
The location is phenomenal, with one of the best beaches we visited in Sri Lanka, just on doorstep of this special place.
My wife and I had the most amazing time, with memories that will last a lifetime, our experience in Mosvold will always be remembered as fun, beautiful and magical.
We loved it so much, we booked 3 more times during our stay in Sri Lanka!
Be sure to order the gin basil smash from the bar, you won't regret it!

Pros:

It’s location, the friendly staff, comfy beds,
Spacious rooms and the little attention to details like making the bed for night time. The spa and the balinese masseuse were great.

Cons:

Cleanliness can do a lot better, the room furniture doesn’t give five star you can feel it a bit rundown. towels has stain mark on it while clean its not something you’d get at a 5 start hotel.
Also, the hairdryer was sticky and had bits of dark glue all on it. Some of the staff although friendly and helpful they need to be more professional, for example walking into the room with wet shoes all the way to the table brining room service. Also had a thing with water pressure washing right in front of my room where the water started to get inside creeping from below the door. It was loud and it was unnecessary.

Probably the best beach fronted hotel on Kabalana Beach.
Pros:

A great hotel with possibly the greatest beach front in Ahangama (Kabalana beach)
Huge rooms plenty of sun loungers and attentive staff. This hotel has quite a mature colonial feel. Its sunset views along the amazing surf beach with 1km of sand were spectacular. A lovely pool and with Cabanas surrounding it.
Breakfasts were wonderful and plenty of choice.

Cons:

A small thing but if you order special coffees other than filter at breakfast they are charged extra, no biggie but could be included.

The facilities, how close the beach was it was so convenient for getting up in the morning and going for a surf and the best part about the whole stay were the staff they were very welcoming, friendly and the service was incredible. A big shout out to Garmini who looked after us every day his service was 10/10

Excellent location with a beautiful view. The staff were great—very attentive and welcoming throughout the stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made it very easy to relax. Overall a lovely property and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Pros:

Amazing location and view. Incredible staff who were friendly and attentive to everything. Delicious food. Slick design, architecture and decor. Comfortable, spacious and well maintained rooms. Nice added touches like the spa and turn down service

Cons:

Everything was great. If I was to be critical I would say that the pool could have been bigger and also the beds could probably have been a bit more comfortable (mattress was slightly hard)
