Vista Celestial

The staff was Amazing! So helpful, cooperative, accommodating, and went above and beyond with Everything! Had a massage at the spa one evening, which meant that I missed the last meal of the day. After I returned to casita there was a knock on the door, it was one of the wait staff bringing me a salad, as I requested!!!! Wonderful!
The villa/casita was SO Comfortable and quiet! The views were AMAZING!!! Such a wonderful experience!

This was my 3rd and best trip to Vista Celestial. It just keeps getting better. The staff always go out of there way for anything you need, the food is excellent and the accommodations are first class. The rooms are spotless and kept clean and bug-free at all times. I will definitely visit Vista Celestial again. One of my favorite vacation destinations!

My wife and I spent four nights at Villa Celestial after staying at San Jose (2 nights), Arenal Volcano (4 nights) and Monteverde (4 nights).
We were looking to rest a little and Villa Celestial proved an ideal setting. The hotel is really modern and comfortable with superb room views overlooking the Pacific.
Highly recommended.

Went with my family of 4 and we loved this hotel. The staff and the drivers were amazing and genuinely were really welcoming and nice people. We also enjoyed our excursions a lot and the guides as well. The outdoor jacuzzi with sunset view was also great. The area and beaches around the hotel are really special and unique. Would love to come back again

Our fifth yoga retreat at Vista Celestial was the best yet! They have provided a beautiful environment for our group to practice, relax, and refresh in nature. The abundant food offerings were fresh, local, and diverse. We really felt the spirit of Costa Rica in every meal. The accommodations are exceptional, and the yoga spaces are perfect for a large or small group. Every person on staff was helpful and friendly, walking us through excursions and even planning special events for those in our group who were celebrating engagements and birthdays. I can't recommend Vista Celestial more highly.

There aren't enough words to describe how awesome the team at Vista Celestial were. Every detail of our stay and excursions were thought of so we could experience the best vacation. The place is so beautiful and peaceful so if you are looking for that this is the place for you. Our every meal was delicious and carefully prepared to our liking! Consider this place if you are thinking of going to Costa Rica.

This is a true lodging experience from the beginning to the end. They warn you that you need a four wheel drive vehicle. I find that people often exaggerate.....not here. I had four wheel drive, but the tires were normal very average tires. The road to the hotel is very rocky with large potholes. I took it very easy on my little Toyota fourwheeler. It takes about 15 minutes to drive the two miles.

Once you get there, be ready for one of the most incredible views you have ever seen. You look out over the ocean and "The Whales Tail" ( a unique rock, sandbar formation) from the terrace/restaurant/bar/infinity pool. There are only five rooms in this hotel.

Everything about this place was amazing!!! The chef was incredible. We stayed three nights, but we ate at Vista twice, because you are not going to get anything better than what he is cooking.

It is about 100 steps down to your room. Don't forget anything when you go up, because.... This is a very romantic place. One couple had their two year old with them. We have four children and six grandchildren. It is the last place I would take a young (toddler) child.

The staff were incredible!!! They could not have been more helpful and friendly. We are SOOOO glad we stayed here.

Beautiful hotel nessled in the rain forest of Uvita. Everything was beautiful and professional. Had a wonderful exsperience ans the rooms had an awesome view. only about 20 minutes from the beach do you have the best of both worlds.

Absolutely LOVED this resort! Not only is the property absolutely breathtaking, but the staff is unbelievable. Everyone’s so attentive and kind, they made our fitness retreat extra special. The food and drinks were all so delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Uvita!

We enjoyed the small boutique feel of this resort. All of the staff was friendly and greeted us by name. The complimentary breakfast options were so tasty.

Our time at Vista Celestial was nothing short of amazing. The views from the top of the mountain are breathtaking and the hotel itself is beautiful. All of the staff were kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to whatever we needed. The food may have been one of the best parts of the trip - with fresh fruit, juices, and endless family style food for every meal. On top of all of this, the experiences they helped us put together were unforgettable. I will definitely be staying at Vista Celestial again if I ever find myself back in Uvita.

Vista Celestial was the perfect home for our movement retreat in Costa Rica. The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views and beautifully designed spaces that immediately make you feel relaxed and inspired.

Jennie, the owner, was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was extremely helpful, made sure all of our needs were met, and was always on top of communication. I truly felt like I had an open line of communication at all times, which made planning and executing the retreat completely seamless.

The staff was equally amazing. They knew all of our names, were incredibly attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our group felt taken care of. The food and drinks were outstanding and a major highlight of the experience.

Vista Celestial also helped organize some unforgettable adventures for our group, including beautiful waterfall hikes and tours as well as an incredible sailboat excursion along the coast. The yoga spaces were phenomenal, with the pool deck yoga class at sunset being a true standout moment of the entire retreat.

I would highly recommend Vista Celestial to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway, and especially to retreat leaders searching for a special place to bring their group. We could not have asked for a better experience.

My husband and I spent the most wonderful week at Vista Celestial and can’t recommend it enough! The food and service were fantastic, the room was breathtaking and clean, they made scheduling off-site excursions and transportation a breeze, and everyone was friendly and accommodating. It was by far one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been!

Our time at Vista Celestial was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend going here for some rest and relaxation. The villas were so cool, with the best views, amazing bathtub and hot tub and patio to enjoy away from anyone else. The food was one of our favourite things about the stay - we felt like every meal was at a 5 star restaurant. The smoothies and mocktails (if you don't drink alcohol) were also so good!! Love to see more places offering amazing mocktails. The staff as well were so kind and welcoming. Our days were spent lounging by the pool or hot tub in the main area, or in our villa (the room service is awesome too). We also did a cooking class which was so fun! I would definitely recommend for a getaway! We won't forget our time spent there!

Vista Celestial is absolutely incredible! We went for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation. It’s not your traditional “all-inclusive,” but in the best way possible. The staff was wonderful, our room was breathtaking, and the way they coordinated all of our activities made everything so stress-free. They arranged rides, handled all the details, and ensured every moment felt special. And the food truly out of this world!

We will definitely be back and highly recommend Vista Celestial to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and unforgettable getaway.

Perched on the top of the mountain, we already expected that the views would be beautiful- but the toucans and monkeys were phenomenal accents to the stunning scenery. The property has limited rooms which made for an incredibly personalized experience with plenty of landscape to explore.

Whether it was the ease of the shuttle to town/the beach, the thoughtfully provided chairs/towels for when we headed to the water or the phenomenal drinks awaiting us upon return, it was clear that there was a whole team fully dedicated to making sure we had an exceptional experience. As a family we participated in a cocktail/mocktail making class, a yoga class on the platform nestled in the jungle, and completed the waterfall hike on the property which proved a worthy adventure- but it was sitting in the jacuzzi before happy hour each night observing wildlife that was our favorite routine. We had all sorts of weather during the trip and can attest that this property is set up for enjoyment no matter what the circumstance.

We were uncertain about how we would feel with just one restaurant for six days, but the food was so exquisite that even on days where we could grab lunch in town readily, we saved ourselves for the mountain chefs. Fresh, beautifully prepared food that we and our kids all agreed was worth prioritizing. The service was unparalleled and we are so thankful for all the team did to make each meal a special event.
