Menumbing Heritage Hotel

We stayed here to visit family. The property is beautiful, both the building and the pool area. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work too well, and we had to clear the shower drain ourselves to prevent flooding the bathroom. The breakfast was not up to European standards: the coffee was very thin, the toaster browned on just one side; the bacon and cereal/cornflakes were the opposite of crunchy; and there was no butter, just room-temperature margarine. The fruit and on-site cooked eggs were good.

I love to stay here and I choose suite room that the facilities ver good and has bathub.
Pool very awesom, meals and food delizzzz.
The staff really friendly and communicative.
But, the WiFi up & down.
Location close to traditional market somehow very crowd and stinky, but the positive point easy to town and easy to find foods outside.
Really satisfied and will come back again.

Zeer recent 5 nachten in Menumbing verbleven waar we een superior kamer hadden. De kamer was echt aan een update toe. Schimmel in douche(die overigens ook echt (te) klein is), vochtplekken in behang, vloerbedekking vies, en meubilair ook opgezet door vocht. Het gebouw an sich is in prachtige authentieke staat. Het zwembad is heerlijk, al ruik je daar de hotelkeuken en plastselijke markt erg goed maar wij vonden dat geen probleem. Ontbijt is prima als je er ruim voor 9H bent. Kom je later is veel op en valt eea echt tegen. Er loopt veel personeel, maar eea is geen ge-oliede-machine. Ze zijn aardig, maar de meeste zien het werk niet. Tafels worden niet of traag afgeruimd en weer opgedekt, om koffie en water moet je vragen als je aankomt in ontbijtzaal terwijl het een makkelijke routine zou zijn dat iedereen aan te bieden bij aankomst. Als er eerder al mensen aan tafel ontbeten hebben moet je je servieswerk bij elkaar zoeken op de andere tafels. Dit hotel heeft absoluut nog steeds de potentie om (weer) 1 van de toppers te worden op Bangka maar dan moet er wel snel een frisse wind doorheen. Wij hebben besloten de volgende keer als we Bangka bezoeken uit te wijken naar een ander hotel.(Novotel)

Design hotel yang menarik dimana tetap mempertahankan bentuk bangunan aslinya. Pelayanan receptionist yang ramah, kebersihan kamar yang baik, lokasi hotel yang dekat sekali dgn pusat pembelanjaan

Comfortable very suitable for family

Only issue i had was with that tv list and tv channel does not tally. Staff is friendly resolving small issue like my safe is not working as it should asap. Location is so quiet at night outside hotel that you are afraid to go out without a car but bustling with activites as it is a market area. The hotel itself would have been perfect if not for the tv issues. My 2nd time here and many more to come.

Not happy about the room that limited options. I have to upgrade the room since they don't have a twin bed room.

Our stay were great. Hotel staffs are very nice, kind, helpful and friendly.
The design of Hotel is great, simple and clean.
Breakfast is okay or so so. Match with the value you pay. Outside hotel not so good but in the center of the city. Location is good to get around.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here during Christmas holiday. Even though the location was a bit off (very close to a traditional market), the hotel itself and the service wasn't disappoint. Everything was top of the class. The interior and the cafe was pretty nicely decorated too. Definitely a holiday well spent. Will stay here again for sure.

Delightful hotel in unappealing town and area. Excellent service. Faultlessly clean. Friendly staff. Good cuisine.
