Great value
Bus services. Easy access to sea front, spa and town
The staff were great and helpful. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and provided alot of convenience since I could bring them up to the room if I didn't want to dine in the restaurant. The hotel is pretty close to the town center but has abit of an uphill walk so may not be good for those with mobility difficulties.
Wifi in the room was sporadic. The bed was in between the sink and bathroom which was very inconvenient especially after visiting the bathroom. Had to squeeze past the bed if I needed to use the sink to wash my hands or just to fill the kettle. Pillows were really soft and uncomfortable. Had to fold the pillow which made it too high. Overall, the sleep wasn't comfortable.

It was amazing value for money. The rooms were simple but had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and it was clean.

The hotel is in a great location, 5-minute walk from the top of the town centre. We found the staff really friendly and the bar area is a nice place to relax. The rooms are basic but were spotlessly clean and also great value for money. We found the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The bathroom is an excellent size including the shower, which was fab and appeared to have been recently renovated. We also had a reasonably large built-in wardrobe, so there was plenty of space for everything. It was definitely handy having a lift at the hotel too, plus we had a friendly little seagull welcome us at the window on arrival!
We suspect there may have been a small leak somewhere in the bathroom, as we kept finding little wet patches on entering the bathroom. On reflection, we probably should have reported that, but we weren't able to locate where the water was coming from, and it wasn't a significant amount. during the night there was a banging noise we suspect was pipe. although it woke us up, it only lasted for a few minutes and therefore wasn't a major problem. We were on the top floor, so the seagulls are a bit noisy on the roof first thing on a morning, but you can't blame the hotel for that!
The bed was comfy and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was extra so I didn't buy it there and went elsewhere for something to eat, but used the tea / coffee making facilities in the room.
The toilet seat was a bit wobbly and the toilet space itself a bit cramped. Stairs were a bit steep, especially when carrying any kind of luggage / bag. The door to the room had a big gap at the base as the door wasn't aligned properly.
I requested a quiet room out of the way and was given one on the top floor in a corner, which was ideal. Thanks for that. The room had plenty of space for one, the bed was comfy, shower was powerful and spacious. Breakfast was for an additional charge but was good.

The staff are lovely and pleasant they strive to help in any way they can. We were able to check-in early and access the room. The location is perfect for the Spa and south cliff beach. Parking is available all around the area.
The hotel is a bit dated and run down. The bedding was clean but the bedspread was not. There was no hot water from the bathroom sink and a smell like death was emitted from it whenever water was run away. Our breakfast was cold, wrong, and took ages to arrive, although apologies were made.
Location was great and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful .. we arrived early and got an early check in .. parking was easier than we anticipated especially at Easter. Breakfast was available and the flexible option was perfect.
