Avoid at all costs.
Arrived after being messaged all day about arrival time and if we didn’t tell them they would cancel our room, even though I told them our check in time. Arrived and they had given away our room the day before but hadn’t told us!
Told us we would be downgraded for a discount price, yet the discount price was the same price on booking.com.
Staff were rude and didn’t care - she literally said “if you don’t want to stay there’s a hotel round the corner”
Absolutely disgusting behaviour and rude.
Unfortunately when checking online they had nothing available and we had travelled for hours. So stayed.
This resulted in three different rooms in three nights in the hotel!!
The first room, although spacious and comfy, the bathroom had no door at all and the toilet was in direct eye line to the bed. A great way to get to know your partner better if you’re into that! There was also no hot water for showers.
Arrived back at 11pm to have no electricity in the room so had to move rooms at that time with no help.
The second room was smaller, it had a bathroom door but so rusted I got stuck in it and my partner had to get me out. Again came back at 11pm to no electric so we had to move rooms again!
Finally got moved to the suite we originally booked with the “spa bath”. And well it’s was rusted and broken. Not hot water for showers. Bathroom window without a blind so the whole bathroom lit up like a Christmas box.
Staff also got angry at my partner as he waited in the lift for them to come help at 11pm when no electric. Shouted at him saying we broke the lift as the door didn’t close straight away.
Upon check out staff didn’t care at all that we had such an awful stay. Asked for refund but they don’t do refunds of course.
Just don’t waste your time or money on this poor excuse of a hotel and business.
