Terrible experience – do not recommend

We stayed at Seminal Hotel in Taksim from 30 May to 8 June and had one of the worst hotel experiences ever. Teenagers in the room next to us smoked in the hallway every day, causing a strong smell throughout the floor.

There were vomiting sounds, loud noise at night, and no peace. We complained every single day, but the hotel refused to change our room or take any action.

The receptionist was rude and unprofessional – he even told us to “call the police” instead of helping.

Housekeeping was poor and messy. Our room was not properly cleaned throughout the stay.

This hotel ruined our trip and should not be listed on Booking.com until they improve their service and staff. Definitely do not recommend staying here

Bad service

Hotel is very clean and service is good. Many thanks for roba housekeeping for her effort and umut in reception are very great ,they make our holiday confortable,the hotel location is very good and sweetable for families and staff are so goood ,will come back again

✅️ The refrigerator was not working because of the high cost of energy and I had antifreeze and I was very annoyed
✅️ The behavior of the staff is very unfriendly and bad
✅️ The hotel pool was very cold and forced to use a swimming cap without prior notice and contrary to the information on the hotel website just so they could sell you a swimming cap. The pool hours are only from 12:00 to 18:00 when you are not in the hotel and this is a scam
✅️ The hotel claims to be 4 stars, but it does not even charge water or tea and coffee
✅️ No one will help you to carry your luggage and the sound of drunk people or people having sex can be heard in your room constantly, which made us embarrassed in front of the children, and despite informing the hotel management, no action was taken
✅️With the cost of this hotel, you can make better choices. Please do more research. This hotel left a bad memory of Istanbul for us

Great hotel ! Worth it every euro! One minute walk from
Tamsin square ! Great breakfast! All day and night outside the hotel a convenient store! One minute away from closed parking! Very big rooms very helpful reception! I will go again and again

The rooms were very small AC was not working rooms were hot in August and they didn't give me a fan

I booked this hotel because of the pool. But the pool opened at 12pm and it was very uncomfortable swimming in the pools as the staff kept telling us to be quiet as people were having messages. Even though we were not even making any noise. We felt like we was not wanted. Some days they opened the pools at 1pm. Which wasted all our morning.

It’s so bad service

Veldig fint hotel, nær sentrum, fin lobby. God frokost :)

No air conditioning , too much noise in room! Fine breakfast, nice staff , walkable to taksim square! Small rooms

I had a cold during my stay there. I told them that I am cold. the room is cold. but they said they don't have central heating just cooling system. they said they can give me extra blanket. another problem was the bathroom. the shower was separated by a glass door from the toilet. but unfortunately when I was taking shower, the water came out of the glass cub, I think a 4 star hotel should be more equipped.

Very dirty not clean at all all inside interior is very very old and the power cut off. Suddenly I called them please my powers off and he’s upset so I’m not gonna recommend for anybody. I hope your website take out this hotel from your list because it’s gonna be Affecting your website thank you

I will never stay again

Room was comfortable but you could hear external noise from the street, corridor and other rooms
Swiming pool is open only from 12 to 6pm no towels are provided for the pool
Very close to public transport and main shopping area
Breakfast was good, providing a good variety of foods
Staff were mostly friendly
Overall is a good stay near Taksim Square

Front desk being rude.
